Thread: BE'd pet specials not working?

Heya, I was testing a pet today that a friend let me use. It had Strong Poison and Strong Disease as specials. I went out and tested, and the specials werent activating. They simply werent responding to my special attack commands. So, after reading some on the boards I find out that Strong Poison, Strong Disease and Knockdown are all currently bugged, and do not activate on command. They still randomly occur, but not on command.
So, I pulled out my various wild Arachnae and Mereks and the such to test their poisons/disease and they all seem to work normally on command. So is this issue isolated to BE'd pets? If its a known issue (which I did not see on the state of profession post), is there any word on a possible fix?

Oh, I wish I could edit.
I meant in the Issue List. Not the state of profession post. I also wouldnt of started 3 different sentences with "So" but, bleh.

Poison and disease occur randomly. However, i was having a pet duel with someone my pet started to randomly use its intimidate / stunning strike specials. very odd.

All specials occur randomly. But Creature Handlers that have the Special Attack commands should be having their pets actually respond to them. My wild tamed pets that have a poison or disease attack seem to respond just fine to my Special Attack commands.

Really? I have never had any of my wild tames work with those commands. Maybe I should retrain them and see if I have any luck.

Well my King Merek Harvester and Arachnae Webmaster activated on command. After doing a little more research I realized that my Merek was actually using "'Poison Spray" so maybe thats why his worked. But my Webmaster has Strong Poison and I could of swore it activated on command. I will go test it again to make sure. Reguardless, this issue needs to be brought up on SOMEbodies issue list hehe. Its not listed on the CH board, or here.

My bad, Im stupid. I went and re-read the CH's Issue list and it was indeed on there.

i didnt think they were tamable? i know for a fact they dont have babies so I dont see how you got one...

If you happen to be on Radiant Ill glady show it to you. Its extinct, but Ive been a Master CH a long time. I got mine way back before the babies were removed. I also have a few other extincts. Every server has at least a few extincts in circulation, my guess is that there is probly alot more still sitting in someones canceled account hehe.

Extincts are definately still out there. I have a Queen Merek, two Kliknik Queens (I gave a friend my third) and two Dalyrake Matriarchs.
