Well, according to www.swgcreatures.com, a mutant rancor can do up to 700 damage, and there are at least 8 different creatures that we can sample that have over 600 damage, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say that mid to high 600's in damage is possible if that is important to you, and provided you're willing to trade HAM, to-hit, and resists in exchange for that high damage. My personal best has been 590 or so I believe, but damage is never something I've focused on exclusively.

well i got 420 on a lvl 33 pet without trying, and he has 30% resists or better to everything except lightsaber and energy. Course that was my first and only attempt at making a really nice pet. If i could sample Mutant rancors no doubt i could hit 500+.

meat and flora mean absolutely nothing as far as the clone is concerned. The stats of the clone are all determined by experimentation.

I hit 610 damage on a pet once, but it seemed like the cl cost was huge. It came out lvl 75 despite having <13k ham.

Merek Death's Head has 670 max damage, so theoretically you could slap 5 of those together, experiment it up, and have something with at lest mid-600 damage at under CL 70. Mix in a mutant rancor sample or two and you may even be able to approach 700

The only problem being the death's head 10 resists across the board. I still used to love them for making 500+ damage, ar1 lvl 30-35 and 500+ damage unarmored under lvl 20.
