As I gain more and more into BE, having a lot of fun, I am experimenting with various creature DNA. Mixing and matching to make various pets. I've finally started to get down which slots do what, how to experiment to get good scores in various areas etc. But as far as formulas I only have a few sure thing formulas that produce pets of various kind. For the most part I'm still sampling mobs as I run by and see them with various nice stats. I'd like to build up a good collection of formulas in my /notepad. So does anyone know of a website or thread in this or other forums that has some nice formulas for various pets? I know much of the fun is discovering good formulas on your own, but I'd like at least a couple good formulas I can build on. Or at least info on what creatures are best used to achieve certain stats or what not.

The first place I would like to point to is the search engine at the bottom of the forum page. Also, another good place to look for recipes is www.swgcraft.com

You will find that most reknown BEs create their own recipes and have a giant notepad with scrawlings all over it next to their keyboard and mouse. When trying a new formula, make sure you make a note of everything you did because you will kick yourself when you get to 15th generation and realise you can't remember what you did

Oh and make sure you use shorthand, you dont want to have to keep writing out Young Malkloc Plains Walker all the time

Ok if people don't want/like to give out their hard earned formulas, how about just noting some of the better creatures to sample from.

Mutant rancors are a good one to use in 2 slots for some nice damage

you will find some formulas if you leaf thru old posts but i think the exitment is doing yourself

take an empty back pack and a storage droid go to dathomire get some rancor bull rancor mutant rancor and other animals from there alot of them will do quite well if you mix them in

endor is also a great place to look and i find some dant animals are ok for lower level pets

seething bol crusher on dant gives nice kenetic and stun resists and gives med disease. I used it in all 5 slots and only used ave and above ave samples and used 7 points in mostly phys and a 2 or 3 in aggro. damage was in the 230-240 range and cl 37. Now that im MBE i will be trying higher quality dna and some generations.
