Thread: How much to charge for Enhanced Myoflex 16/16?

Well, I decided on 80k for one crate of +13/+13 ... I wasn't worried about doing better, since they will need two slots anyway for +25/+25. I'll see if the person who I did this for wants it at that price...

In my experience Myoflex is a major problem, the resources are a pain (if not technically difficult) to get but the finished product doesnt really reflect that - entertainer tissues arent the best sellers and a tailor might have to use 5 or 6 tissues in 1 item of clothing for the double bonus and entertainers are not rich (unless they have another source of income or got lucky on tips)
So at 4k per tissue the profit for the tailor is going to be very small, but any less than that and its not really worth your effort to make them.

yea, what Nancy said. The thing about this tissue is that unlike the other ones, this one is strictly in the "novelty" category. It's certainly not a useful thing in practical terms. That said, if you price these things based on effort (to collect the egss), oh boy, 100k/crate is probably not nearly enough. What a pickle.

i have had no problem selling my enhanced myoflex +14/+14 for 80k on my vendor.

Spent the last day and a half gathering enough eggs on Corellia (nice spawn there right now) to make a stack of 800 so I could make 2 crates of Myoflex. I'm thinking of charging 100k a crate for the final product. Am I out of line or is it rare enough in crates that Tailors will buy it?

wow, you guys make more money that me.. on Gorath people complain about paying more than 50k per crate of +15 Active Biosensors. I tried to sell for 65k and they just dont sell.

Oh, this is about the Enhanced Myoflex I have about 10 crates of Myoflex 17/17 for 65k and they don't sell.

Odd, you've apparently got a different economic balance over there. Wish you could trade them to me on Ahazi, I'd put them up for 100k per crate and they'd be gone within a couple days.

Surely you're not comparing active bio sensors to enhanced myoflex are you? Because they are exact opposites. Bio sensors are a high volume item where the ingredients are very easy to buy. Enhanced Myoflex is a very low volume item where the ingredients are impossible to buy and must be collected yourself and are very time consuming to do so. Heck, even once you have the eggs, decent quality scaly hide is often no picnic to find. You'd have to be stark raving mad to price those two the same.
