It's actually worse than just no ranged attacks. We also got the courage and fierceness stats dramatically reduces on creatures that were high in that before. I'm gonna bump the original thread. Many BEs don't seem to understand that we got a MAJOR PET BUG!!!!

i know the feeling Doreli, i've given up now, i was all for gathering research and dna stats for nams tool, but now i'm not bothering, i canceled my subs on my BE last night.

I'm so sorry you are stopping being a BE but honestly I may not be far behind ... I would say the ONLY thing that is stopping me from dropping MBE at this moment is that my husband wants me to make a stock of ranged/melee defence tissues for him to use if and when they ever fix jedi (<--I meant to say tailor BE tissues but since he is a jedi and doesn't play his jedi much b/c jedi is borked as well i guess both apply (sigh)).

I keep thinking - people still want pets and I should try to keep my petshop going - but all the people who have contacted me in game about pets have been able to find another BE to make their pets for them and don't need meanymore (I've been putting them off b/c of not having the DNA in stock to make their pets and told them I'd be happy if they found another person before I got to it).

I'm not a CH so I won't be using pets. I originally became a BE as a nice compliment to my husbands mCH but he doens't really like BE pets and never has. Nobody in our town are CH's anymore ... they are all combatty jedi-wanna-be's who have a second toon grinding AS so they can make their own armor and not pay what they THINK areextortionate prices every 2 weeks for new armor. They are quickly gonna learn that actually grinding out a crafting profession is more pain than joy and that armor crafting is not easy, nor will they have the resources to make good armor when they get there.

I need to find the joy I felt in this game before. I do like playing. I'm not ready to quit ... but the joy has gone out of BE for me ...

I have a toon on Furry that is a BE and I agree. The Pets are actually the only thing I wanted to do, and with No Ranged attacks and No Specials and The Pet mount issues with only 3 being able to be mountable at CL 10. I am now thinking on respecing.. I Still have hopes, I saw that CH issue Got a lot of attention by the Correspondent's message and it even got moved to announcements forum. now if we can get some of the pet issues in there..

I know how you feel concerning BE. I am doing nothing once again that's really BE. I've removedeverything from the bazaar and all advertisement except for my vit Cs. Ijust tameda bunch of cu pas since everyoneseems towant one for a mount. I suppose I could make more non-CH pets since they sellwithin a few hours of putting them on the bazaar for 20k.... The good side for me is I just got Total Experience and am enjoying the space missions. WhenI tire of that I'll try out the kashyyk quests. And when that is all over, maybe things will be brighter.

I've been playing RotW and I found all the DNA that people have been talking about - on they Ryatt trail from elites and double elites (named) creatures. Even so .... i did think the roarlords were cute tho.

We got some attention - but only when our profession was completely useless with the 1(0) bug and then elite pets not making it back to stats. With a completely unplayable profession, you bet we got some attention.

But all the brokeness of pets is still there - and they are preparing to nerf us again with the testing of the next publish on testcentre. We are just slightly more broken than BE still. I know our CH correspondent is doing a great job trying to be heard - but sometimes no one wants to listen.
