Hello all. I have been reading through the forums about the changes to the profession post-CU, and have some concerns as to whether or not BE is the right way to go. Since the CU allot has changed, and I know that it severly limited my medic toon on Eclipse. Wanting to avoid any unpleasant supprises, I looked here, but...alas...only more questions.
Basicaly, I have a Wookie I was working toward CH/Ranger, but recently got turned-on to BioE. However, from what I have read, I am starting to gather that BioEdoesn't seem to be able to provide as good quality pets as a MCH could tame in the wild. Considering that my main emphasis (from an RP standpoint) is on the petit's self, I have to ask if I am notbetter off going CH/Ran than CH/BE.
Iam main concerned with the limited CL that MBE has,given that a BE pet may not function as well as a tamed one. Please tell me I am wrong. Thanks allot.

Unfortunately your not really wrong. The pets a BE can make and the pets a CH can tame are just about equal. I have managed to eek out a few k of health at the upper end over tamed pets, but elite tamed critters in the lower levels continue to beat anything I have made to date. I keep working at it, and hoping to discover something that I've previously missed.
