Hi all,

So I was reading through the combat upgrade docs and I came across something interesting that I wanted to be sure was correct. Will state changing shots, which carbineer is best at, work against npcs after the CU?

Thanks,

Sure, our attacks will work on creatures, NPC's, and PC's.....why wouldn't they?

Maybe the "Ranger Disease" is spreading

ok New BE here. while my course is set on completeing MBE i just wanted some clarity on my interpretation of the many post i have read here. just let me know if these are true statements.

1. Armor rating is set based on creature level. ie you will NEVER get a level 20 creature to an armor class of 3k.

2. Damage is based on creature level. lol ie you will never get a level 20 creature to hit for 500. (yes i read the post about dmg below)

3. Health is tied to Level as well so you will never get an 8k health lvl 20 creature.

4. Creature skins (ranc, grual, gurreck) are tied to min CL so you will never be able to craft below that min. IE a LVL 25 grual.

If the above are correct then might i inquire as to how one BE is going to differ from another. with other professions i have noticed that every server has their creme de la creme of crafters that everyone goes to. on my server (tempest) BE's/ CH's are a dying breed. What is going to make one BE stand out in whats left in the crowd. Any tips would be grand.

I can think of at least ONE mBioE/mCH on Tempest...

as for the rest? we're all wondering about CRAFTED and EXPERIMENTED stats, rather than CL-based stats that rewrite the values on taming.

i used to have the energy to write detailed descriptions and stories for each pet i made, in hopes of making the animal, and my vendor, a somewhat unique experience.

sadly, at this point, an infusion of RP might set you apart from whatever remains of the profession, on your particular server.

If a BH is hunting a jedi while he's SF, he deserves to die. That's a quick and easy way to get gang-tackled by numerous SF jedi.

Opposing factional TEF and "bounty hunter TEF" are applied to both combatants as soon as any of the combatants attacks.

So does this say that lets say the BH isspecial forcesand is hunting an on leave jedi. When he attacks that the jedi is switched to special forces. If this is so this sounds like it will be easily exploited. It may no longer be 5 bh coming after u but 1 bh and 7 jedi.

I hope i am not reading this right.
