I would first like to thank all of you for your posts and those that contributed to the calc outstanding job. I have begun creating pets that as a MCH i would certainly use and others seem to think so as well for now my vendors are getting tapped constantly. Right or wrong my heart lies with MCH so my prices stay rather low 30-40k for what i would deem as a useful pet. I took on MBE in order to better understand what it was i have been buying these past years. I have read the posts regarding pre-patch evolution and i decided to give a swing at working some magic with generational clones, (this has come to be since the availability of the calc has allowed me to hit my target levels consistantly, again thank you for that amazing tool). One of the issues i have noticed with my generations is this ......
Overall my quality of pet decreases as the generations progress.
Here is what i have been doing:
1. CL 50 wild spawns with consistent stats (eg. ensureing that all DNA has relatively the same stats)
2. Break the harvests into DNA quality groups (each group acting as its own seperate experiment)
3. Craft my templates from these groups and then using the Kimo schem making my next generation.
My exp points (10) are placed into:
aggression (in an attempt to quickly boost CL)
Prowess (Regen)
Psych (in a hope that perhaps i might get the bloody courage up)
4. Sample the kimos and go back to step 2.
What i am noticing is that while the first gen seemed to be ok pets (for the DNA used to make them) as i progress the pets usefullness seems to be waning. Any guidence regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the reply ..... so then in a nut shell there is little point in cultivating generations?

The whole point to generation creation is to reduce the level, for example it is possible to create a pet that is bove the level 70 max for master CH, so you could then sample them and fine tune a generation creation down to level 70

Thanks I was wondering about that too.
I was trying to hit CL10 and a few times would have liked to boost a few low stats but didn't dare experiment on them. Now it looks like I can then bring all the stats into line in the next generations.
