Thread: Somehting that is bothering me.

Ok so the first named creature on kashyyyk thats under CL75 I find is jagged fang. He is CL 55, so i sample him till he dies but i got 5 DNA samples...with a crit failure putting it together. So some time later i have another 5 samples and i get to experiment so i do, and i use all my points for fun. The pet i get is CL 135 
yet again i get 5 more samples, i put it together with out experimenting at all. Guess what CL 135 again with exact same stats.This kinda pisses me off, Jagged fang is CL 55,should i not get something closer to his CL with his DNA? Another thing that bothers me is even if you use 1 sample from this named creature mixed with others it drives the CL higher than it should be.
now the DNA from jagged fang has 1000 Hardiness / 1000 power. the other stats aren't so great. (CL55)

goretounge: 1000 Hardiness/ 1000 dexterity/ 1000 power (CL 63? not sure)
if you want the exact stats i can post them just say so.
comments and suggestions about the use of this DNA are welcome

I think it's because Jagged Fang is a 'content' mob for a quest or something and as such shouldn't really be sampleable

Fang is an elite (or maybe double elite) mob. These have stats far above their CL, and their DNA will reflect that when assembled. You can possibly use one or two of these mixed with other DNA to help keep the stats high, but you need to figure out what you can safely mix it with.

finding safe mixtures out now, using sawtooths DNA though, gonna try some with jagged soon.
here is what i got with one sample used from sawtooth
