Thread: Combat Profession needed?

This post is in regards to the problems im having sampling dna. If i am a high level character, such as Master BE and master Carb. im lvl 54, does this grant me the ability to get dna from better creatures? I say this because i am currently a 4241 BE and i am almost completely unable to get dna from creatures over level 40 somewhat effectivly. I currently am lvl 39 so i was wondering if my level had somehting to do with it.


Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't think it's your combat level, it's the fact that you are not master bio-engie.

Combat level has no effect on the likelyhood of successfuly getting a DNA sample, the only thing that matters is your sampling effectiveness. The sampling tree in BE increases it, and so does getting Master BE.
