Well I sent TH a PM on last Friday after the debacle that was the Friday Feature. It has yet to be read. I sent him another one today trying to spur some kind of response, action, acknowledgment, or anything. I'm not sure if this one will get read either.
what's really interesting was the PM I sent to JustG concerning the BE FF was not only read but i got a response (all in the same day!). Is TH really busierthan JustG that he can't even admit to the travesty of the BE 'Advanced' Guide?
Anyway...here is the PM I sent. I'm sure it wont do any good, but I had to try (I even kept it civil):
Hello Thunderheart,
I know you are busy, but I think it would be in the best interest of the BE community if you responded to the many (many, many, many) angry and upset BE's concerning last weeks Friday Feature.
I'm sure you've at least read the threads, and by not making any reply at all itis only reinforcing the notion that the BE 'promise' has been fulfilled and we are now on a forum wide 'Ignore'.
Please do not treat us like this, and do the decent thing and respond with some real information about what went so terribly wrong on the SOE/Dev end.
Thank you for you time,
Kreegan

how many threads get locked give me hope that they are indeed read. I would think a tuesday/wed is a better day to send one then a friday when it may get lost or he has less time to read them or take as much time.
Who knows! I sent one to.. but who knows..

Ahh but locked threads are not the Devs or TH, but the Admins who may lock threads for a number of reasons.

yeah i know but the point is, people are reading the stuff we write, regardless of its context.

What was the response you got from JustG?
(how do you tell if your message was read or not?)

The general response from JustG was that he was sorry it wasn't what we needed, and that the BE Dev (Keldarin) is really busy leading the Jedi Revamp.
You can tell if a PM hasn't been read by looking in your Outbox. Unread PMs will have Date/Time field will be bold. Also, if you click on the PM you sent you will see a Status: line at the top that will say if its been read (and when) or if its unread.

What answer do you seek?
I understand your angry, but its not like there is alot he can do about it..
Do you want a respond like:
"Im very sorry, i know i promised the community something, but i was unable to fulfill it. I feel very bad about this, but there is nothing i can do about it "
Cause thats about all he can say unless he for some reason knows that there will be a new guide. If there was goana be a new guide, he would most likely tell talthazar, not you.
So now, you seek an explonation or excuse, but why should a PM even help?
The devs is not retarded, they must know we are bitching about it, the fact they dont respond is nothing new. A PM from one user is not goana change this fact...
I understand you are upset, so am i , but i doubt you will get a usefull respond if you even get one.
Taking a rational look at all this i understand the developers choice . Probaly 90% of the BEs out there dont bother about advanced formulas and stuff. They read a few recipies in here, or figure out some them self. And then just mass produce that. Or simply just sample and put something together... So they waste a developers time making a guide for a very few bio engineers, while the Jedi rewarp involves maybe about 50% of the players...
Its a **edit**, they should just have told us how this guide was goana be right from the beginning, they dident , thats Sony, pretend to be serving everybodys interest, just enough to make them stick to the game...

Well that 1 statement has made my mind up about continuing with BE, Keldarin is in charge of the Jedi revamp, that explains sooo much.

Nope that I can guarantee. You need to trick him like you are a spam writer to have a chance at a glance. And low probability even then.

Sorry, I should have been more clear - with Keldarin being in charge of the Jedi revamp I've made up my mind to mvoe on - I know we wont be getting any of the fixes we deserve with no much emphasis on the new Jedi System.
But I have the utmost respect for those of you that are sticking with it.
I'm nearing the end of my degree and my time in game is getting ever more limited, I intend to enjoy every minute of it.
