Now that they fixed BE to where it should almost be I have decided to work with the profession again. That being said i went back and looked at all my old dna samples that i had. Most of them are ranor ones from creatures i understand we can no longer sample dna from. One of the bull/enraged ranors along with the nightsister rancor had an attack called Force Strike. Does anyone know if this? Are these FS rancors? I also have a couple of krayt dragon samples that have 1000's for almost all the stats, if i use these will the creature that is made be beyond tamability? any info would be most apprecieated.

force strike is broken, like cripplestrike i belive.

Force Strike is a combined KD/dizzy in one shot possessed by some creatures, including Nightsister rancors. I can say with (almost) absolute certainty that it is a disallowed attack in BE pets after making a pet using purely HQ and VHQ Nightsister rancor dna and only seeing the crippling strike come through on the clone.

That's dead on.

There is another version of this attack that also has a scary-as-hell warp effect that goes with it... it's an 'unknown' special of Krayt dragons. If you ever see a Krayt in combat go still, run away!

If Bordok Mares have force strike, then its not a dizzy... just a knockdown.

I did a few Bordok missions on Endor for fun and profit, and I got knocked down several times but never dizzy. And I have horrible defense vs. dizzy, so chances are out of the 5-10 times I got knocked down a dizzy would stick.

Bordok studs do indeed dizzy, though.

It's possible it's an area of effect knockdown but I'm fairly sure that I've seen a dizzy status effect from it on occasions. If it's not transferring then it basically confirms it's AoE but doesn't explain what it's full effect is. It's interesting for animals to be able to wield the Force with some limit ability through isn't it

I have 10 samples I got yesterday that all have an Unknown special. I have no idea what that is. I don't remeber what creatures the are.

There's a number of species with unknown attack, from what I can see they act like a wild card slot which will take either a special from mental or psych. It's not a special in of itself you see.

I got a sample with Force Strike off a Bordok Mare. Haven't tried to use it yet.

The special attack will simply not transfer over or it is possible that the special attacks are rated and a certain level of intelligence on the clone must be met for the stats to transfer over.
