Bio Engineer Archive

Ijust resently took up Bio Engineer, not because the blue box told me or that they are the flavor of the month, but because I am sick and tired of waiting for the planned changes to the career I first took. Master Droid Engineer.

So using that "Buddy" account SOE so graciously gave out. (/Sarcasm ON) I started hunting and making stims till I got to NBE. At first all I did was sample ikopies, but wasn't getting very good DNA. Figured it was my level and waited till I got sampling II and the quality didn't jump that much so tried tusk cats and Gualamas. The DNA was better but when I tried to makea clone the stats were still down.

I've tried reading the Frequently asked questions page and the three articles there also. Kinda made sense, but even using Faamba DNA (got lucky once) still not breaking 2K on any HAM bar. Also with the Faamba DNA I'm using I tried to combine it with Bolle Bol DNA that I found I can harvest.

My basic questions are these:

1. I know that each part of the sample are paired, 1 + 2 = Health, 3 + 4 = Action, etc... What I would like to know is how do you look at the sample and know ballpark how that would relate to the HAM size?

2. Is there anyway to make specials stick in clone? I tried three different pets, Kaadu and I used Fanned Rawl DNA in the last three sockets and only one had poison in it. The top three were tusk cat DNA, wanted an agressive one.

3. I read that the meat and plant matter you make the clone with help make a better clone. Does it make a drastic difference? I mean does OQ 400 make a big difference vs OQ 800?

4. How can I maximize my experimentation and what is the best places to experiment with?

These may sound like the rantings of an idiot, but this has me perplexed. If I understand the basics of how the process works I can work and tweak it, but this seems completely different from Droid Engineer and Master Artisan. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
