Thread: nocious kahmurrith dna the real information and rant
Ok so I usually stay away from the boards. But after a long discussion with another BE on my server. And him telling me all about the bugged DNA and other information. I have come here to post a message to the masses who are looking for Jesus in a DNA sample and Satan in the Designers...
First off:get off your high horse about how you think the game should be. I think the new system is quiet balanced and where it should be.. I think that a BE pet should be better then a wild one.. Other wise kill off the BE profession as it will be usless.. I think the devs have it nailed right as it is now.. And it works.. I will get more into this later but let me post about the Kahmurrith DNA and how all you people who feel this is bugged dont truely understand the system as it is laid out right now..
Light armor is 40% to all resist natively.. If you dont think so make a Kahmurrith and expiriment it to full.. So it is just light armor.. Then have another creature attack and and look at the damage done to it.. And the damage it takes.. It will be 40%..
Resists are applied AFTER Armor is applied.. Example on the calculation..
Creature CL who cares. Light Armor
You do 100 damage to a creature.
It will take 60 damage you will get a message you did 100 damage.
Creature CL who cares. No armor 50% kinetic
You do 100 damage to a creature.
It will take 50 damage you will get a message you did 100 damage.
Creature CL who cares. Light Armor and 50% kinetic
It will take30 damage and you will get a message you did 100 damage..
Math is with armoris Original Damage * Resist Mod * Armor Mod...
So with that said the Kahmurrith is in line. Becuase of the fortiude on the creature.. You need to get the fortiude higher to get the Armor.. So the closer you get the fortitude to the magic number (I will not give out all the information as I am not here to share my full information as I am a mean person like that) the more you lose the resists.. Until you cross the number and lose the resist completely..
Now you ask your self.. Why does this only do it on Kahmurrith.. Becuase they are the only creatures with LIGHT ARMOR and NO RESISTS added to them.. Dont think it is a bug. It is a misconception on your part..
So to make it easier for you to understand. That max resists you can have on a creature is 100% and with the calculation on the damage will equal to
Damage Given into Armor which is 40% off it Immediatly
Then apply the resists to what is left over..
If you dont think this is true.. Look at any creature with LIGHT ARMOR.. And dont expirment it in Body.. You will seeone thing.. Some resists stay the same and you will get resists in other areas that you didnt expect.. NO DOUBT!!!
So stop with this bug thing.. It is not bugged...learn how the game works...
Now on to my rant of what you feel HAMS should be on pets for the CL.. Get over yourself.. This is an art form now.. Not an exact science.. You know why? Becuase none of us have the exact math on this.. I have spent tons of hours and 1000's of DNA samples comming up with the information I have. And trust me this is a total of 8,000 pages of data.. And plotted how things change when things are done.. And I am not even close to gather all the information on this system. Anyone of you who think you know it.. STOP NOW and get a life becuase you dont.. There is a random feature into it as well... So dont think you can tell me you know it.. If you think you do.. Then do me a favor and make the following creature.. On the first try..
CL 21
H=2100
A=1800
M=2300
Damage=200-210
Make that creature and apply the Screen shot here.. And I dont mean close.. I mean THAT CREATURE.. When you can do that.. Then you can talk.. Other wise I dont want to hear from you.. That creature is possible.. And very easy.. I can make him 9 out of 10 times.. Can you? Give it a try.. But pardon me, I digress...
Dont get all pure on the fact that it is unfair for a non-ch to run around with a creature with 10K ham and hits for 110-150... It is unfair to the CH's... My answer is NO IT ISNT! Not by a long shot.. A master CH can throw out 70 points onto the field in the form of 1-3 pets.. Trust me.. He will win that fight hands down.. That is in PVP.. Now on to PVE..
CH's have it the easiest in the game in PVE.. Why?? Becuase they have NO RISK.. Absolutly NO RISK in PVE.. They just sit back deal thier happy little damage and send thier pets in.. Only risk is if thier pet drops.. I know this why?? Becuase I am a Master CH and a Master BE.. And I can tell you I dont do ANY work to fight.. It is cake walk.. Now my friend who is a Master Arch.. And a Master Pistoleer can not really solo that well without alot of running around.. I made him a 10K pet to tank for him.. And now he has it about the same as me. I call that balance.. He doesnt kill any quicker then me.. He just has it easier..
So before you start worrying about other peoples classes think about yourself. And only deal with yourself. Becuase I dont care what you think I should be doing. I want to have fun and I dont want to have to worry about you.. Becuase I wont..
You wanting to set limits on CL. Well just bring back the old system in BE.. Becuase appreantly you miss it becuase that is what you want back.. And dont claim otherwise becuase you are wrong.. Wanting to set limits on ham vs cl vs damage vs your happiness is just wrong.. Just hard set it at that point and make all BE's creatures the same again.. Make no randomness to it or skill involved.. Just make it a matter of combine this with that and get this and it will be this all the time.. Grow up and stop thinking you found the holy grail of bugs.. Becuase you havn't..
Blingbling.. The Only True Bio-Eng
One thing is for certain.
If the developers do decide to make all of the pets Bio-Engineers can make fall into certain ranges or limits, this profession will be just like any other crafting profession.
Everyone will be making the samecreature with the same stats using the same DNA.
Kinda boring if you ask me.
Seems the excitement of the BE profession in its current form is the randomness of the clones.
Honestly this is the only crafting profession atm that has unique results and creates a unique one-of-a-kind product.
/chuckle
Blingbling come back with a stronger argument and I'll deign to counter it. Til you learn a bit more.... sorry, you're wrong.

This is what you have to say about all the data I have put in there? This is why you will never learn anything nor will you get any further in understanding it.. You have a closed mind.. What do you want me to say I agree with you and bow to your wants? Guess what.. No that is not the case. I am not here to impress you. I am not here to make you happy in the pants. I have posted information on the DNA. And also elborated on the fact that this profession is what it should be and all I get for you.. come back with a stronger argument and I'll deign to counter it?
Grow up sir.. You had nothing to say dont say it.. Dont waste time with drivel about how you wont respond to this.
Here's a counter argument for you, you elitist putz - and I dont really know you well enough to know the degree of your conceitedness...
I HAD a 10k ham pet before the nerf. It was a kind little bantha that served me well. After the nerf of non-ch pets, my companion bantha was turned into a slimy bol. They didn't even give me the right race creature back.
I suppose you feel that falls into what is acceptable. I do not.
When the City Patch came along, did ALL the houses pre-patch turn into some other structure on you? NO. they didn't...
So - onto the counter former. IF the said Bio Eng was using a sample from a creature that was indeed bugged, the creature would be subject to nerf. Is this bad? Perhaps - as follows:
I pay 1 million credits for a non-ch pet with 10k ham and then 2 weeks later it's turned into another bol. I have another POS pet that isnt what I wanted, am out 1 million credits, and I am again the proud owner of something to skin and make boots from. The BIG point here is, I had this 10k ham creature for 2 weeks, and had gotten some serious use from him - That which I would never had done alone.
Lets also consider that maybe it's not a bug... Lets consider that I, a non-ch, have a 10k ham pet, paid 1 million for it to YOU. How freakin happy are YOU? You run around get some FREE DNA samples, use alittle meat, and VIOLA!! 1 million credits later, you're buying new armor, a new gun, a couple holos, whatever... and I am free to run around and use this pet, untill you can figure out some what to make one better for me to use at the cost of 2 million credits.
ARE YOU A FOOL to think that isn't the way it is, and by sitting here wasting your time refuting what is, and what can be done, you are REALLY squandering the valuable time you CLEARLY need to make a 10k ham non-ch pet, and sell it to people like me in the free-marketplace on your server!
I applaud Blingbling for standing up to you nay-sayers and conformists. While you say no, he says when!
Instead of looking at ways to limit what people can do, you should be looking, like Bling, at ways you can INCREASE what they can do!
With your close-mindedness, you should probably become a TKA, and just go be your own pet, as you really have no business clicking your mouse pointer on a crafting tool as a BE. Having seen what the BE crafting is like, I am in agreement that it's more of an 'artform' than ANY other profession.
Weaponsmiths can bang out the same gun all day, given enough materials. Architects and Cooks are the same. DNA is FAR more precious, and dangerous, to come by, and the liklihood of getting identical samples to make a HUGE run of a particular pet is SO impossible.
It shouldn't be called the Bio Engineer profession - It should be called Genetic Scientist, or something to reflect the creativity you are able to exercise, cause if you look at that profession in black and white terms, you WILL suck at it, as I'm sure you must. Anything that you can't so becomes only explicable as an exploit...
There was another time in American history when they looked at things in that light... It was during the McCarthy Era. Anyone who didn't see eye-to-eye with a black and white view of the world was a communist... Are you a communist?
Hmm I kinda with Sumo on this onem, you start to make a point and never really make it. Now when you can make this creature:
CL 2
H=5
A=8
M=50000
Damage=2-800
That exact creature mind, nothing close, or realistic, just some random figures I pulled out of my ass, then you can reply.
Oh I can see why you don't psot to forums much ![]()
it's kinda sad how this has turned into a flame fest with people trying to justify unintended and unbalanced exploits if you ask me, this profession took a turn for the worst....sigh
You know - It's also sad when people that can't figure out how to do something assume it's an exploit.
So - Milbot, I'm glad you aren't on my server, because you're pulling 50k mind as a stat on a creature is as plausable as you having an ioda of brain matter in your head...
raz1337 - you are truly not adding anything valuable at all, are you? Go back to reading comic books and touching yourself LOL
I am making a valid point with some serious real-life examples. You guys can't do what this guy can, and so you are ALL saying he's sploiting - HOW PITIFUL
If you truly spent half the time you spend in these forums, trying to understand your class, you'd have a different perspective on this.

Welcome to another idiot... Hello.. Is that pet possible?? NO it isnt.. Is the one I posted possible? QUIET possible.. If you know your craft.. you cant make it because you dont know it.. You can combine and make some ok pets.. But the difference is.. I can make that pet.. I can make it because I know the numbers needed to make it.. Do you? That is my point.. Until you get out of your closed little mind and read what I am saying you will never truely understand what this is about..
It is about two things..
1) You people scream bug when you dont understand the system. Learn the system.. Then you can declare a bug.. You waste more dev time by doing things like that.
2) Quit trying to change the world. Take what you have and run with it.. While you are screaming about this and that and how it should be changed. I am making millions selling pets that are uber.. And I dont care.. They nerf them later it will be like someone comming back to you and wanting a refund on the Rancor you made them 4 months ago?? Will you refund that? NO you wont. So I wont refund this.
Why does everything have to be a popularity contest with you guys.. I dont like you.. You dont like me.. But read the information instead of staying in a little place and saying I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT!! Listen to the whole information before saying anything
I think the point that he as trying to make is that you cannot make his exact creature because we do not know enough about the system to do it, not because he pulled some unrealistic numbers out of his ass.
Huh... I managed to figure that out all by my lonesome.
This thread is degenerating fast but Ill throw this into the mix
10k ham NO ARMOR 40% resist creature pet equals 3150k ham MED ARMOR 40% probot.
All that is going on is the current code for BE is using the data at the game creation for a pet to be used by any player.
These pets are not exploits.
The same non-ch pets can be made with 3-4 different kinds of DNA, this is the program code.
The solution-
Unnerf Probots to the orginal game code so that both will be usefull combat pets.
If non-ch pets equal current in game probot stats, you wont see either of them being used by players.
Of course pre-nerf Probots are still in the game and being used.
My two cents
Nope not directed to you Djected ![]()
Welcome to another idiot ....was what I was looking at
