I'm a novice bioengineer at 2.2.1.1

It seems now I can't make good pets, because I can't get good dna, and even if I could,I can't experiment on my pets. I can't sell anything to make money, so I can't get materials to grind. Um....What do I do?

One possibility is to go to Dantooine and sample pickets. 9K per mission, ~350 XP per success until you get DNA 4. That way you have DNA, you will (eventually have DNA 4 to get better DNA), and you will earn money sampling creatures that don't db.

Now you'll find that your skills in the profession determine what part of the market you sell to, in the case of novices they make non-ch pets for the most part.

I have found that as a rookie I could much more easily make good quality NON CH pets. Use War Gronda or Picket DNA and you can roll out lots of lvl10 HAM~2-3K with either 30%Kinetic or decent damage (or both with 2nd gen clone DNA). Use Butterflies or Gnorts in Psych, and 2nd Gen DNa or another trash DNA in either mental or aggresion and experiment it up. Use the good DNA in the other 3 slots. Works most of the time.

Now I struggle to make a lvl10 pet as good as my novice creations without using 2nd gen DNA andI am all sold out on my vendor!

Good luck!

Please, please make NCH pets. This is a perfect fit. You are starting out and need business, and you have all the time in the world to explain why you cant get 80% kinetic with light armor on a CL10 durni. This is in your business interest too, helping to build up a customer base. Another good thing to do is petstim A and vitality A for the bazaar, but that takes a bit of a capital outlay to do. As a MBE I am deliberatly trying to turn away NCH pet requests to you guys, just as smugglers tend to send people with locked containers to those struggling for slicing 1.

Use sampling to kill a nest worth of creatures and play around with what you gather. Try to save up for a probot with a crafting 6 station in it, you will find it very useful.

This is why youre a novice. You have to level to be able to make good pets.

Not that levelling guarantees youll make good pets. If youre lazy, unwilling to do generation cloning, or get the best dna available, you wont make good pets. If you dont make good pets you wont get much business. With the influx of BEs youre not going to make decent $$ selling stims either becuase the market will be flooded.

Level so you can sample the good stuff. Then make good pets with it.

What people want in order of importance:
Desired CL
Armor Rating 1
Good Kinetic resist
Good HAM
Decent energy resist
Specials
dmg dealt
