Thread: What would you consider fair?
I consider the following "fun facts" fair:
No matter how much brown nosing these people do, theyre not getting in the dev club because they dont have what it takes.
Tommorrow is another day for another possiblie nerf. When they get stung, there will be no sympathy.
Its New Years Day. Time for fun. Not for calculating BE forumulas. Life is passing you by. And the devs still arent paying you. And they never will.
And just in case, getting "in" with the devs isnt the alterior motife and its something else, Id like to remind folks that most of the devs are married so....
This is a kind of in-joke so dont worry if you dont get it ![]()
Well, my best lvl 10s and under so far have been roughly half of the uber 10k ones I've seen posted here. I haven't made one of those - haven't tried - and don't intend to. I'm even a little afraid my 5k lvl 10s might be nerfed, but they are respectable pets for their level - and I don't feel bad about selling them.
A little common sense has to be applied here. If our max is what - 11 or 12k on topend stuff due to the sampling cap (I'm taking a wild guess here based on HAM of what we can sample - and posts I've seen) logic tells me a 10k ham lvl 10 is probably too good to be true.
It's not like we've not been to this dance before. At release and for MONTHS there was the baby DNA uber critter problem. CHs got the reputation then of being GOD because some of their creatures WERE.
I just wish we knew what 'normal' ranges were - not only so we'd know if our pets were likely to get an axe, but also as a baseline to judge a pet against, as a non-ch - I have the devil's own time deciding if I just made good, bad or mediocre pet.
I also think CL needs to be added into the template process - I feel like I'm flying blind, and all these numbers are swimming around in my head giving me a major headache.

after reading i have to agree that our pets are a bit too uber. as fun as it is to make them, they pretty much are not what the dev's want. we're just angry at tal and them b/c they state what we all know is true. we just dont want to accept it.
honestly what u and thetwo people need to do is quit speaking on behalf of the devs unless u have writtng quotes to back it up.. bottom line you are speculating..(nothing wrong with that...) i have had more discussions with more BE's on my quest for a custom pet on Gorath.. and i have been asking that they come here and voice their opinion.. (and i think that i have finally found someone to make it woo hoo..)
bottom line is you already have a slider scale of sorts.. u raise your HAM.. you decrees your attack.. i agree that an even balance is 2,5 -3.5 k. maybe a little hire if u have the right materials. and the 150ish attack.. with the speed and chance to hit u stated.. (although i think the resists balance are in the 25% range.. )
you can from this point sacrafice attack and raise the HAM.. or you can sacrifce HAM and raise the attack..
