I have a have just started the endeavors of being a bio-engineer with my Alt toon I got after I made padawan. One of my guildies( Master Chef )and I decided since I can start making light additives that we'd give it a try and make some spiced tea with some light additives. So I made the appropriate Light Additive which what is required for Spiced Tea, and low and behold when trying to make the spiced tea the crafting tool didn't not recognize the light additive as the valid item.

Now I double checked to see if I had the correct type of additive for the spiced tea, and it appears in my eyes that it is correct. So can somone help me out and tell me whether or not the additives that you make for Chefs is broken or not?

As far as I know, the additives are working just fine. The most common mistake made in this arena is that BEs make tissues, not additives. I assume you made nutrient tissues (Broad Spectrum Nutrients to be precise).

Those are converted into medium additives through the use of the medium additive schematic that is in the novice chef box.

The resulting additives are what you can use in the spiced tea (or other foods).

Don't know if that is the issue or not. Hope it helped in some way...
