I am trying to decide between the following 3 templates for what will be a primarily PVP character:
Master Rifleman
Master Carbineer
Master Marksman
Medic 4-3-3-0
or
Master Rifleman
Master Scout
Ranger 0-0-4-0 (For tracking of other players as well as advanced warning of overts)
Marksman 4-0-0-4
Medic 4-3-3-0
or
Master Rifleman
Master Doctor (For self-buffs with stats migrated to 800-1100-100 in mind pools)
Master Medic
Marksman 4-1-1-4
Looking forward toreading your opinions.

Master Lightsaber
I am a light-alligned jedi. Lightsaber will be my offense, no powers. Tree speaks for itself.
3004 Healer
Yeah nothing special so far. Heal self for 1500 a shot for little force. I'm skipping the 4xxx box since totalhealself is a HUGE drain on forcepower, and if I'm getting that low on HAM in every pool I'm probably already forcerunning out.
4400 Enhance
Force Run 2, Force Armor 2 and Force Absorb 2, Force Feedback 2.
2004 Defender
Melee defense, Jedi Toughness, but most importantly TONS of state defenses (dizzy and intimidate, not sure if this works against knockdown? Won't matter much if I'm never dizzy).
My Analysis vs FOTM template (Master LS/Enhance 4004heal)
I will have LESS overall force power, I will not have force run 3, I will not have force Meditate, I will not have Channel Force.
I will have a buttload of extra state defense and melee defense vs Jedi and Non Jedi, plus jedi toughness vs Melee.
I think what I have outweighs what I don't. ForceRun2 should be enough if I'm not planning on cheesy hit and run tactics all the time, and Knights have enough force and regen where Meditate and Channel Force shouldn't be extremely important. If I'm that low on force, I forcerun2 out.
I'm not taking the Force defense in Defender since I will have feedback and absorb, and not taking ranged defense since our block is so good.
I also won't have regainConsiousness, which is meaningless in PVP anyway since you have no buffs and are a sitting duck after (and already lost FRS points).
Is my 2004 defender worth what I'm missing in Enhance?

I was considering a similar template but I have heard that the state defenses hardly work at all in defense. I dont think the small amount of melee defense that you will get with that template will do much good either...
Also, your right you will get better regen in the force ranking system but it looks like its going to take just short of forever to level up the frs...

LLC has ap1, FT has the possiblity to burn. and acid just sucks..none are that great to pvp(thanks Dev's) so really its up to you which you want to waste your time on.

Is it viable to take x/4/x/4 in BE purely as a support to Chef? What I'm wondering is would the non-Master BE's nutrients be sufficient to support a commercial chef?

You lose out on making INNs which means no heavy additive food and also 2 experimentation points which means you will struggle to make 84s with high quality resources.

If you're short on SP then 0404 might be the only way to go. Those extra 2 experiment points can make a big difference though, even when you're just making tailor Tissues. Not to mention you'll lose out on the joy of making super Durni eating Squalls.

Thanks for the replies. But a follow-up question. Don't most Chefs use Medium Nutrients? I see Chefs constantly asking for BSN (that's medium right?) and don't ever remember seeing a Chef asking for the INNs.
I understand the Experimentation points though.
