Its also under options. Something like "Show Cockpit" at the very bottom of "Misc"I think.

under misc menu inoptions all the way at the bottom "show cockpit frame"

Seems I pressed a button on me keyboard that made my virtual cockpit go away...how can I get it back

realize I never turned off practice mode.
