Hey all. How do I get a list of the commands in the game so I can make some macros? Thanks.

You can get a list of command by doing the following.

To get a list of all the command do // and hit either enter or tab, I can't recall which.

To get a list of command that start with a particular letter do / <the letter(s)> and hit tab.

So all the command that start with st it would be /st <tab>

I'm having quite a rough time figuring out how to heal in the heat of battle.

I've tried a /healdamage <player> macro and sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't.

I'd like to figure out how to set up a macro to usemy stimpack in my toolbar.

Finally, I basically do not have an understanding of how it works. I'll have 2 or 3 moves queued up, then hit my /healdamage self macro, and it will not activate for quite a while. How does healing work into your queue? It doesn't appear in there, so it's hard to know what to do.

I'd like to be able to heal a party member during battle, but am missing something.

Thanks

Please replace /healdamage with /tenddamage in the above post.

Ok, this is how I have set my macros keys up.

Open up your Abilities Browser (CTL+A). Go to Macros and that is where you will make all your own macros.

I have a macro for each type of wound.

HWHealth = /healwound health

HWAction = /healwound action

HWStrength = /healwound strength

HWQuickness = /healwound quickness

etc...etc. and on down the line til you have all the stats covered (except the mind pool, of course). I also have back up keys that read exactly the same except all of them are /tendwound <stat name> for those little heals that dont really require the use of a med pack.

Then I have taken those self made macros and have placed them up in my toolbar #2. You can place your cursor on the bottom of the toolbar, click and drag it down to where you have a double toolbar which allows for more hotkey. To utilize the second line of your toolbar just hit Shift + F1 - F9.

For damage, I have 2 keys.

/healdamage

/tenddamage

In combat, /healwound is the heal that I use the most. This is probably the same for everyone.

Targeting is a little tricky but, once you get familiar with your keys it all falls into place. The quickest way for me to get a player target is to use CTL + 1 - 9 when in a group. As long as you can get the player that needs a heal targeted, the rest is easy with your toolbar. I have found that healing a player while your are in Attack mode does have a delay attached to it. I "think" that your heal will not perform until your current round of attack is over. That may be why you are experiencing a delay when healing in combat Enoch. The best way around that is to /peace first then heal. That way you dont experience any delays.

Hope these suggestions and insights helped you some Enoch.

oh, one more thing. /tendwound or /tenddamage, in my opinion, should only be used as a last resort. ie. hot battle, you ran outta stims and the tank needs a quick heal. Remember that healing with your mind pool causes you to suffer from mind wounds. And if your out in the field for long periods of time with no entertainer to easy your mind, those wounds can add up fast and hurt your ability to be effective in your role.

Is there a way to macro the function of pressing "cntrl+f2", or switching weapons. I wanted to create a macro that switch my weapon and my action bar so I could go from melee options to marksman options quickly.

I actually just drop the weapon(s) on the bar at the top ...
Catch the corner of the top bar and drag it - you can make it double the available slots !
Now I put special moves AND the weapon next to each other - nice !

that is the classic answer to the /equip question again.

the toolbars at the top are ok for changing one thing at a time if you have a few seconds to spare, but if you are prone with a rifle and the MOB you're shooting at sees you and charges in then it would be much better to press one key which activates a macro that gets you stood up, changes weapon, pulls off a special move and even (if possible) switches to a different toolbar at the top so that you have all the icons available for the weapon you just switched too.

can u see what I mean?

Hey there, since this is a Medic macro thread, I figured I would ask a related question.

How do you set up a macro to use your STIMS automatically from your inventory instead of using the Mind to heal?

I have been moving the STIMS to the F1 - F12 keysbut, I am finding thatthis is a kinda long process. Especially if I am in battle, and the slot becomes empty. This means having to open up and replace the Used stims and healing at the same time. There must be some process to make this faster..

TIA

Satirr, you can open up the Ctrl+A window and under the Misc page there is a /healdamage command. That is what you want.
