Thread: How to craft only CL 10 Pets ?
How can I only craft CL 10 Pets ?
I've tried it with the same DNAs (Kashyyk Banthas CL 22) and the same Pet (Gurrcat). But I got random results. From CL 8 to CL 14 .
So how can I only craft CL 10 ?

You have to get the exact combination of dna with the exactly right stats, it's all trial and error, keep trying diferent creaturs, mix and match dna, keep records so you can cross reference what you have done, eventually you will find the right creatures to use for your recipe, it's all about facts and figures and working things out, that's the diference and the fun of being apet making BE 
Small hint: Try 5x Mouf DnA (above average or high quality only, avoid using very high quality) with no experimentation, should get you CL9/10 almost every time.
Building on Kao's advice:
Sample normal moufs on kashyyk. They are in the Klenow Forest over the bridge from Kachiro.
I use two (recipes) depending on the hardinessof the samples (I sort them out).
recipe 1
Hardinessbetween about 470 - 499 then just use 5 of them in any slot and you will get a level 10 with no experimentation.
recipe 2
Again looking at the hardiness values:
- low (430 - 460)
- low (430 - 460)
- high (say 490 - 520)
- high (say 490 - 520)
- med (470 - 499)
no experimentation again .. (the slots are listed in order they appear but the two high ones go into mental and psych).
This will get you a level 10 template almost every time, and you won't waste any DNA doing it. Make sure that the skin you are using doesn't have a minimum level that is above 10 but there is a huge variety of animals that will work...you can ignore the aggressiveness ratings on that list for now as they don't seem to be working anymore.

US/US/US/US/US and that's a nice lvl34 pet btw.

(note: 1 point into prowess gets you to level 35 and helps bring the regen up)
a sample of this pet (5xUS) in a new pet:
(5xUS)/PJ/PJ/PJ/PJ came out to be a level 10 dewback
For you aspiring pet making BEs out there, this is a great thing to do while you are waiting for Jagged Fang to respawn. Make yourself a ton of nice non-CH & lvl34/35s and just hit JF whenever its there.

WE have a robotic vaccuum... I think the reward of picking up the floor to watch it work is very cool. Er ... housemaid? You're totally spoilt !!!!
