For all us Master Bio-Engineers, I was wondering on everyone's secondary professions.

I am Master Bio-Engineer and Master Creature Handler. My other skills are going to be placed into Medic, should have enough to be Master Medic. That also means no offensive skills, so will need to reply on pets doing the damage.

Get Ranger Tracking III (0-0-3-0). Very useful for finding the particular creatures you are looking for to sample. You get direction and distance to all creatures in the area. (Can search for people too, but I rarelt use that).

I also recommend Master Scout for the additional Mask Scent and Burst Run.

I am toying around with the idea of getting ranger concealment skills... it will help me be very sneaky for sampling those angry mutant rancors.

I had Master BE and MAster CH with some Pistoleer skills.

But I gave up the pistoleer skills and all combat skills so I could Master scout and get some ranger concealment skills.

Unfortunately I have not tried thois concealment skills on a ranger and they have all these cammo kit things.

I hope I dont have to have a kit to use cover on Dathomire, becasue you have to be a master to make those.

How long do those camo kits last, anyone know?

And I second the request to hear from someone who is experienced with camoflauge and MS. I can't even sample the squill caves right now without being endlessly incapped (explore IV).

Master Scout, and currently training Master Creature Handler. My brother's training Tailor, and we have a guild Master Doctor who makes my schematics for me. Very sweet...

I've never been a master ranger but I've had one Camo be on Dath,, It must still use your own mask scent skill mod because the mutant rancors kept detecting me but not him.

I found that I prefer to go alone, seems like they're less "jumpy" when it's just me out there (and if I get aggroed I can run away untill I'm out of range and then go back in and try again, with a group it seemed like no matter what I told them as soon as I was aggroed they would all open fire)

I used to turn on my mask scent and go prone and crawl up to the creature, then stand up and hit sample as soon as I could. But last week I found an approach that seems to work better.

Mask scent from exploration 4 will work fine for 1 mutant rancor (usually), it's when you get 4 or 5 of them that you can't take a single step. So what I do is get on my bike and inch toward the group until one rancor aggros, then I drive away from the group (helps to position the camera so you're flying toward yourself so you can see the rancor), draw the rancor away from the rest of the group untill he's where you want him then go full speed while hitting peace. As soon as it stops attacking you hop off your bike, hit mask scent, and make a run for it and hope you get to sample before he aggros again,,, works half the time,,, run for your life a quarter of the time,, and it's clonecity the rest... hope it helps someone..
