Thread: Lighten the Mood
Allright, to take away from some of the frustrations we're all feeling, perhaps a bit of a mood lightener or vent will do us all some good. So, here's my question to all you dedicated BE's:
Whats the most aggrivating question you get asked when you have the MBE tag up?
Mine would have to be, "Can you make me a Good Pet with Good Resists?"
"Whats good to you?"
"Good Resists, Good HAM".....
I understand its probably because most people don't know a lot about crafting, but being asked this 10 times in 5 minutes, and going through the same conversation to finally get at what they want (CL, numbersonresists types,HAM etc...) Any ideas on how to narrow my questions to get at the answers I'm looking for quicker? Ah, just needed to vent a bit, anyone else this problem or different ones?

I think those sort of questions are a problem all BE face. Only solution is to walk around without the title showing! 
My biggest problem, hopefully soon to be a thing of the past, was unrealistic expectations of high CL pets. When people saw those uber low CL pets, they must have thought to themselves (cant really blame them) "Wow if a CL9 BE has those stats the CL50+ must be amazing!". I would make something with 12k+ HAMS, Light AR,50+ Kin & Energy, 20-40 all others no vulns, 450+ dmg and they would pull their face!
After making a custom pet for some one,
"Can you show him to me" coupled with "I can't see him in the trade window he is too small"
or "Can you make me a pet"..."What kind?"........"Do you have any samples?"
as a non CH i can carry one sample

can i have a pet? no you can buy one

went like this for about 3 mins till shuttle got there. i am now a novice scout 
Hello there Smock I ran into a MBE the other day his name was Poo'. He recomended you for a few pets I was asking about. I hope you don't get upset for me kinda hijacking your thead a bit but I just can't seem to catch you on at the same time I have been here lately . My question was to him was I am looking for 3 pets all of them around CL 23 with light armor the highest kinetic that is possible and decent ham say around 9kto 10k and damage anywhere from say 250 to 300 range. Now I knowsince last patch they made thesepets kinda scaracenot even sure if they can be made anymore except for the few friends I have that has a couple.Again if it is possible to do these I would like them to have the plains hunters catlook and there color to be white . Once again if you read this and this is possible let me know a price that these would run and ifyou would have time to even do such a combo or could you recomend someone that could. Thanks again for listening.

Well sure its real and I hope it dosen't upset anyone for I did list everything that you guys would like to know when being asked this type of question . I was just told to talk to the guy from Poo' another MBEhe said that he was a excellent BE and I have been looking for a good one. I would normally just asked on the boards or in game but seeing that last few times I posted I was looking for a BE to help me with some pets I never got a responseother then try posting on the BE board which I did and still no response .The only other way which I alsotried and that was email but for some reason everytime I try to email Smock it says something weird like this email can't be sent basicly I have never had this problem with sending any other email so not sure what the problem is there. So in the last hope I seen a postby Smock and thought what the heck I will post here. Like I said sorry for the hijacking ofthe post but I am sure if I posted looking for a MBE on Flurry to help me with some pets I would have never got a reply one to it. Like I said I am just going on last experiance with asking for help and getting nothing from it . Anyway if you read thisSmock I would love to chat with you in game or you can post here and if you don't have time just let me know and my search will continue thanks again.

Hey man, I'll send you an in-game e-mail when I log on next. Couple people been telling me my in-game e-mails are busted, wierd. Anyway, back to lightening the mood around here, lets get that dark cloud out from overhead these boards. Favorite pet skins for sheer comic relief? For me its gotta be a tie between the Vir Vur Headstand trick and the Woolamander ground pounding. But then you'll never seperate me from my beloved Kaadu, overgrown scaley duck with no wings that can still fight at my side.
Everytime someone asks me for the best non-CH pet money can buy I refer them to Smock!!!
That greatly lightens my mood. 
Customer - "can you make a kimo?"
