Bio Engineer Archive

In the past few weeks, there have been a lot of changes to Bio Engineering. There was a lot of controversy in the non-CH pet/bugged DNA issue, but people ultimately made their decisions based on their ethics.

Anyway, I'm not sure if any of you are on Lowca, but I'd like you to read this thread and let me know if you can see where my ethical concern is coming from:

I read through about half of this. What does placing faction bases and scanners near a shuttle port have to do with us? BE is streteched across both sides and I don't think anyone here has said a word about faction stuff.

Also I don't see any ethic concerns about what was done with the base/turrets, ect. To me it looks like a good strategy. If you want to run a rebel base the last thing you want is imperials shuttling into it covert or otherwise. Its not a nice thing to do, but then they are fighting a war, nice shouldn't factor in. Its going to be bad for their business as imperial players won't shuttle there to browise their vendors, so they lose out that way.

I posted this here because a lot of bio-engineers have stuck with their ethics in recent times of controversy. I wouldn't go spamming this around to all profession boards, or any other boards. This isn't necessarily related to the galactic civil war, either.

Teemo, I am not following what you are doing. BTW, I am neutral and have opted out of the revolution and PVP so pretty much ignore what goes on there.
