Just out of interest, what tool/crafting station (type and bonus) were you using?

all tools/stations are a week old ...and have never "decayed" through dying... 14.82 tool and 41.xx on the station...

I am Master BE as well... I know there have been many posts on this subject and many people venting out their frustrations...but this is ridiculous, really. almost 4 hours to get 12-15 mutant samples...and 3 crit fails on 6 templates??? please...

maybe I should catch up to that holo bandwagon and climb aboard.....

The failure rate at master level is rediculously stupid if you ask me. I failed sampling a cu pa 3 times in a row and no my inventory wasn't full. I mean come on. Its a freakin' cu pa for heaven's sake.

I critical failed making a taming tissue. Bye bye 25 units of milk. Followed that up with a critical fail making an animaltemplate. Bye bye arachne warrior DNA.

Its almost as if you get so many sucesses then boom all your fails come in a cluster.

Did you tried using a droid with food and chem module instead?

The master BE i'm working with is using one - and she never complained about failures.

I've had very few critical failures. Im using 13 level food/chem tools anda food/chem R5 with an 85% effectivness food module (i know i made it). Tonight i just made 10 creatures with one critical failing. Also you might want to consider saving your really good samples for when you go to a town labeled "Manufacturing center" that has a 15% lowered rate of failing.

on componants Arch is just like everybody else but final combines on the buildings they get the sub componants back. Cant rember if they get the resorces back or not but usaly at that point the componants are at least 5 times the resorces required in the final combine. definatly makes sence though when you consider even medium houses have over 20k worth of materials in em, mostly ore, larges and PA halls are alot more.

oh back on topic BANG.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

I heard architects get their stuff back if they crit fail on combine, true? Very understandable if so (Imagine crit failing on 3 guild halls). Maybe they could do something like that for us in DNA combines?I'm in the same boat as you, sampled two groups of rancors, 5 deaths later, had around 30 samples, about 3 actually came out as a creature with 2 left over samples. Wouldn't be as aggrivating if I wasn't combiningon Tat, stupid shuttle waits. Not likely to happen to us, but I like to dream some days. -end ramble-

Lastnight I has 3 crit failsalso, all in a row. That was thefirst time that has happened. I'm so glad I was use crap dna. I was trying to make a 10 critter. I have lost alot of great dna to crit fails and all the time getting it. I wishthe Devs would address this.

I agree, critical failurs are a big problem. I do find that I have less failures when Im using my droid with the crafitng station than at my house with my 41.xx crafting station.

Fodder, its research facility that reduces crit fails in my experience. My city just went from manufacturing to research, and I'm getting around 1/2 of the crit fails.
