Call me repetitive but i always go for Strong Poison and Strong disease no matter what.

The popular combos I use are:

Strong Poison/Disease

Strong Poison/Intimidate

KD/Dizzy

Blind/Intimidate

Stun really isn't all that great, the rest are very useful. Disease is really only good for PvP I've found, the DoT is slow and weak, though it does wound.

My PvE pets all have Intimidate (intimidated targets do half damage) and Stun (Stun slows down their attacks) simply because it keeps the pet alive longer and makes them of efficient tanks.

PvP you can't argue with Dizzy/KD or Dizzy/Crippling Strike, though getting it to stick before they kill your pet is the real trick. CHs are WEAK in PVP. So I mostly make PvE pets.

Does anybody know how to get the attacks like you want? I read somewhere that special 1 derives from physique, and special 2 from aggression, and this has worked for me a few times, but not many (has worked about 10% of the time). Is there some other factor I'm missing?

The other thing to do is use combos for master ch's. Triplets (23/23/24) and twins (35/35). And then you can layer your specials. I've just started making good pets, so I'm not an expert but here's what I've been thinking. For a L50-70 pet I was thinking Strong Poison and either knockdown, stun or dizzy (disease if its for PvP). For the twins I am tending toward Strong Poison and Dizzyon one and Knockdown and intimidate or stun (disease if its for PvP) on the other. Then with the Triplets, Strong Poison and Dizzy, Knockdown and Intimidate, and Stun and Blind (disease if it's for PvP). I don't know if you'd make the PvP version of a triplets because of the lower ham. Just my thoughts. That and 20 credits will get you a drink in the cantina.

First point I would make is that, from personal experience and customer feedback, strong disease (or any disease for that matter) is just too slow and too little to be of any use at all in PvE and has limited functionality in PvP. As such its a bad choice for a special, imo.

For higher level pets;

  • KD/Dizzy

  • Cripple/Dizzy

  • Blind/Intimidate

  • Intimidate/Strong Poison

For paired pets the best combo I have yet achieved is one with strong poison/blind and one with strong poison/intimidate. This gets you stacked DoTs plus the two best tanking specials.
