Thread: New BE in search of some brotherly advice!

Hi all! Bothan Novice BE, Novice CH, Novice Ranger here! I plan on going MBE/MCH/Ranger 0-0-3-0 and was curious if anyone had some advice for a newb such as how my HAM bars should be distributed, or if i should wear armor (not sure if it affects my HAM or mask scent to much). Any and all tips would be most welcome!

When sampling you will burn through your mind and action (in that order) so you need to ensure you will have enough of both to last you a while (either by migrating, food, or buffs)
Armor affects your HAM regeneration rates, but doesn't affect Mask Scent.

Thanks for the help! I am kinda in the dark about HAM. Should I pull from the 3 health bars and pull down into mind?

Keep in mind that you can use vasarian brandy to punch your mind up 400-800 for 30-40 minutes without the downer of muon. I usually keep muon around for the whole between when the bonus expires and when you can drink more.
I've moved some of my stats to secondary and keep my three primary around the same (500-600) and use food to buff up when I sample.

Pop 3 BE'd ahrisas and sampling shouldn't cost a thing to your mind.

Is sisterly advice okay? 
As a Bothan with your exact template, I have maxxed my Mind to 1100. My health and action are 700. I like having semi-decent regen so my constitution is 400 and I believe my strength is 300 (or whatever the minimum is). My focus and willpower are maxxed, with whatever is left going into stamina and quickness.
I bought a 72% kinetic resist Ubese shirt and was fortunate to get a 42% endurance slice on it. The hit to my stats is minimal an it usually is enough protection to survive while my pets distract any target after me.
With this set up I almost never use buffs. Occassionally I will use brandy for sampling or synthsteak for survivability if my chef friend happened to give me some.
I have now made several pairable pets that are stun/intim or cripple/dizzy with high resists, armor and can handle (slowly) quite a few encounters without suffering much damage. I am by no means a powerhouse, but I feel safe on any planet.
