If you feel up to it, head to dathomir. If i rember correctly, Craggy bolma (aggro use mask scent) give 3k xp for sampling.

Most of the animals on Dath give really nice xp, but it is a risk since so many are also aggressive. Good Luck

well, Im at sample 3 myself, and most of my exp. has been on dath sampling malklocs/bolmas/bracks, 200-300+ each attempt, and they dont db if you tick'em off in the process, I would suggest that you have terain exploration 4 and if at all possible clothing that adds to mask scent. with only one handed 4 in brawler and no buffs I think its obvious I dont do much in the way of combat doing this.

anyway. just thought Ide let ya know what Im doing to get the sampling exp and I hope it helps. if ya want to go sample hunting sometime let me know.

I did sampling 4 on pikets on dant. made pretty good money, they aren't agressive, they're slow running (bike can get away easily), they give 300+ xp each (don't remember the exact number), and they don't deathblow. Finally, you can pull 9k missions for em, guaranteeing a source of DNA.

I went for the more macho approach and spent sampling IV on Endor unbuffed. (of course I was wearing full composite and went through almost an entire crate of stims and quite a few casks of brandy along with some canapé in the process)

But since you can easily get Arachnae missions to spawn on endor and you pull somewhere like 400 XP per spider-sample it was worth it.

Hi there!

I hit dna sampling 3 yesterday sampling cannibal dewbacks and giant sandbeetles on tatooine. But now I am facing 80k of sampling xp an I am afraid it would take days to get it full with the ame strat. So, can anyone of you give me a hint where you guys filled your dna sample 4 box?

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

The hard part is over

With sampling III you can get 3-7 samples from 1 animal before he dies.

So just continue sampling beetles and dewy's.

Mine BE-shop is at -1717 -4317 on Tatooine , near Bestine (Infinity server)

I did Sampling 4 on Tat too. No problem, just pulled missions for anything like Rontos, Banthas and up and sampled them to death (Buffed of course to save downtime between samples).

It doesn't take that long when you're getting at least 1K sample XP per critter. (4 samples at 250+)

I did DNA IV in 3 nights on Dath. Grab a pair of Giant Baz Nitch missions for 11k. Then pop your mask scent on with appropriate clothing, and head out. The Giants are 400XP each, and you get 6 per lair. On the way there, sample the other wildlife as well. Craggy bolmas are nice, but not 3k XP - more like 600 XP. Rhoa Kwi are about 500XP a piece. There's one other creature I can't remember the name of, but they look like really big rills and give about 500XP each as well. I did 3 trips to dath, collected 240 samples, finished the box, and was only DBed 4 times.

I only had mask scent with terrain 4 and +25 mask scent clothing, and the only buffs I did was drinking a bit of brandy. I've found sampling stuff that's really mean is much more enjoyable while drunk!

I tried dathomir but the only real good thing was that I found my CH alt a rhoa kwi pack leader baby /grin YAY!

Well after that and a few gaping spider hunters i went back to tatooine and sampled dragonets and giant sand beetles....give 350xp perf sample and up to 4 sample per beast....going real fast now...guess im gonna finish off the sample 4 on tatooine..already at 43k so i guess ill be done by tomorrow

I am in the process of getting sampling 4 and I head to Yavin 4 to the northern outpost and run across the coast. You can't go more than 50m without hitting another layer. It has both aggressive and non-aggressive critters. The Anglers (Giants especially) are great Xp.
