Secret research data does not exist in game yet. (according to information given at the fan fest)
According to TH it is a slot that will be developed at a later date.

Most likely this will occur if you are crafting using a crafting station or crafting droid. A third /nextCraftingStage; line is needed to skip over the experimentation stage.
If this has not solved the problem then it could be caused by a display/update bug logging out for around 10 minutes should clear the problem.

By far the best recipe for making CL10 pets involves voritor dashers and yard trash. Huurton pups are especially favored for this recipe as they have incredibly low stats.
Common combinations are
VD VD HP HP HP - 1 experiment point in physique and mental
VD HP HP VD HP - 3 points in physique, 2 in prowess, 1 in mental
Huurton pups can also be replaced with similar low CL creatures with desirable special attacks such as NightSpiders or Sevorrts in the aggession slot.
It is not uncommon for these to produce cl 11 or 12 pets until you get used to making them, but dont discard the 'failed' clones, they can be resampled and mixed in with the original DNA to make excellent CL10 pets.

This *should* only happen in caves or near static loot spawns.
It is to prevent caves being looted without the mobs in them being killed. This can be a problem for BE's trying to sample cave critters but can be avoided if you know to expect it.
Remember it is possible to sneak up to any creature without mask scent - just very difficult - I have personally sampled mutant rancors without mask scent so it isnt impossible

How much you charge for any product is very dependant on your server, each galaxy has its own economy and prices vary a lot.
Have a mooch around other BE's shops and see what they charge but never undervalue your own time and expertise - BE is the most time intensive craft and requires a lot of player skill beyond the MBE title.
If someone is selling very cheap chances are they will burn out or soon raise their prices, find a price that is right for you? Think about how much work went into your product and find the right price for you.
A good tool for calculating prices can be found here

The highest CL a MBE can sample is 75. The only creature of this level is Mutant Rancor.
This is an approximation of the highest CL at each skill level
Novice BE -> CL 12
DNA I -> CL 23
DNA II -> CL 34
DNA III -> CL 45
DNA IV -> CL 56
MBE -> CL 75

Generation sampling involved taking DNA samples from a clone and using them to create a new clone.
Usually this process involves mixing original DNA with generational clone DNA to refine a DNA template, enhancing only the desired qualities and reducing those that are unimportant.
WARNING: at low skill levels of BE taking dna samples from a clone can be very risky and it is likely you will only get 1 or 2 samples before the creature is destroyed. Obviously this risk still exists at MBE but is less, a MBE can usually get 3-6 samples from a clone before it 'dies'.
