Hi all,

I've been working away at be and I'm currently at 3333; I dropped MCH down a few tiers and dropped tailoring to pick up be. Did a little bit of experimenting with pet stims with wildly differing results. Just have a couple questions:

1) when can I make a decent pet to use, not sell; I don't want to compete yet, just have some fun.

2) can I make anything at this point that's worth selling? I keep hearing about food and clothing additives but not even sure which item or which stats are best/acceptable.

3) if I were to finish be and work back to MCH, would I be effective with pets and little combat skill (3 boxes of marksman) in pve or pvp? I know this is a loaded question, but I'd like some impressions other than what I've heard--which is that pets are totally useless for anything over challenge level 30.

Heya Dinah,

Well, I'ma MCH. And I don't agree thatit is obsolete. My pets work good for me. I have many andI love mykids. I too have heard that CH is useless,BUT my pets have proven that theory verywrong.

I go to many advertous planets. I have 3 pets that I use the most,cause THEY are my babies.They are a razor cat (BE) CL19, the other is a Squill CL31 (nonBE) and a crystal snake CL34(nonBE). I like the thrill of taming my own babies from the wild.

Anyway, We hit the harder planets all the time, Dant, Yavin, Dath, Endor, etc. They have yet to prove themselves unworthy of being wicked . I have only novice pistoleer (0123). I'm not a BE but I think as an MCH I can answer this.

So IMHO, heck no, CH isn't useless, if you work with your pets and keep them up instead of letting them incap or db'd. And I'm in the process of training 4 other CH'rs in my guild. They love it.

PVP = Death

PVE is fine up to CL75 (providing you have the proper specials and know how to use them.)

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.
