First off let me say how much I am enjoying BE especially the challenge with pets, so much different then sitting waiting for Smuggler to actually get some love. It is good to play a profession that so far doesn't seem anywhere near as broken.
Part 1
Looking for either a link or advice of which clothing tissues max out in what region, as do any hit +25 or do you always need 2 tissues to cap?
What is a reasonable price range for clothing tissues?
Part 2
Excited over what I think might be my first decent pet.
Razor Cat CL 38 12K/9.7K/10.5K HAM AR1 kenitic 60% Damage 300 - 310 Special 2 Strong Disease Ranged.
Am I in the ballpark with this as competitive pet?
Also using the categories from NancyJ pet competition, What sort of stats and price ranged would be competitive in each level

Tissues max out at +20 with perfect resources so yes you always need 2 to hit the cap.
Price is dependant on your server
That pets pretty good, shame about the level though, if you could resample it down to cl35 it would be perfect, you could probably get away with sacrificing a little bit of mind to do it.
Either that or combine it with a CL 32 of similar stats to pair it up for an MCH
BE pets are generally sold as novice level, triplets, twins and MCH.
If a CH is buying pets they're not usually looking for one for every level they can control, BE pets arent cheap generally so buyers tend to go for the milestone levels as the skill up and then just complete the set when they get to master.

Nothing you experiment on specifically will lower the CL however certain attributes are always lost in the resampling process.
For example, when you combine a set of DNA it has a minimum and max value for each attribute, at combine it is an its minimum and when you experiment you have to raise each stat to get it back to max value. In most cases you wont be able to max every single line so some attributes will be lower than their cap.
When you then resample and repeat the process that stats that you werent raising or werent maxing out will be lower still, this lowers the CL and allows a pet of very similar stats to be made but at a lesser CL

CL is pretty much never guarenteed. If you're using a recipe you've used before you get a pretty good feel for where the cut off point is for the CL you want but it all takes time and experience.

Thanks for the replies.
So if I manage to get 5 samples from this or possibly 3 or 4 and feed in 1 or 2 of the original animals samples ishould get the same stats region and slightly lower CL. I relized after I made it I probably shouldn't have put my last 2 points into Mental Ex and a slightly lower mind might have got me to twin stage.
Also I was reading some of the old guides on a website and 1 stated that "Some cat skins may give an increase in CL because of the added speed" Is it possible this DNA in something other than a cat might have come out lower.
Another question is "How thehell are we supposed to store allour collected DNA but tissueingredients withoutusing a Vendor and backpacks? Since all the merchant carebears are all stressed over people supposedly stealing their profession by using the"Place vendor skill" then dropping it. Is there aproposed storage fix for DNA or do we just have to grin and suffer?

Getting 5 samples is always risky, mixing in some original DNA *may* help but if this pet was a 1st gen combine then it may be just as easy to remake it and put a few points less experimentation here and there. Also I was reading some of the old guides on a website and 1 stated that "Some cat skins may give an increase in CL because of the added speed" Is it possible this DNA in something other than a cat might have come out lower.
I've never heard that in my entire BE careerin terms of CL, skins only affect the minimum level

Many ideas have been proposed but nothing is on the discussion table as yet. I *hopefully* will have some more information about any potential changes soon.
