Do you still kill the sampled creature at novice BE? if so has it been mentioned and or talked about as being used as a possible exploit? meaning you get a high pay mission, go out DNA sample the mobs until they die... hit the nest, rinse repeat until the nest no longer spawns then wham you get the pay out...?!?!
Just wondering thanx

Novice BEs cant sample much higher than capper spineflaps or dwarf nunas and tbh I think of ways of earning 440 credits faster

Ahh those were the days. Go to Endor and pull Crimson Blurg missions for 20k. Lovely.
As a poor BE with 17k to his name, I'm going to have to pull a few missions like that to get my cash up. Anyone got any suggestions for well paid missions where the creature doesn't Death Blow?

If you keep in 'peace mode' (press peace twice and you'll get a triangular icon next to your name) creatures wont DB, most of the time.

There are a lot faster and safer ways to destroy a mission lair than sampling the critters to death. Its not uncommon for the animal to get upset that you stabbed it with a needle. If you have no combat skills you can indeed sample a mission lair but it will either take you a looooong time, you'll incap too many times and die, or you'll just be outright deathblowed.
If its an exploit its not a very good one.

I'm well aware of how long it takes to sample a mission to death
It's just a nice way to make some money. I have no bazar or customers at the moment, so money is running out fast. I just want something to occupy my time while I wait for a friend to take me on some Janta missions and I can be bothered to work my to business 3.
I remember having no pets and no combat skills. Destroying the base was a nightmare. Set it to attack and watch a film.
Happy days.

Actually this is how i'm grinding my way through the DNA line. I head out to dantooine and get picker planes walker missions, no DB. Usually i'll milk them and sample them at the same time. Get through the first batch, tap the lair, go through the second batch, bring the lair down to about 42k, peace, more pickets spill out, sample and milk, then finish off the lair. It's a great way to make money while sampling/grinding but i wouldn't just do it for the money too time consuming. The best bit is all the milk you get, which you can then turn around and make creatures with.
Oh and NancyJ that peace twice works GREAT. Thanks for the suggestion, now i don't pull the whole lair if a sample goes wrong.

When I hit sampling 2 the first time, I did giant baz nitch lairs. I was levelling sswordsman at the same time. I'd sample the naz *itch's until death, tap lair, rinse and repeat, bla bla bla. by the end of the night, I had 120k credits from this and enough xp to get sampling3 and half of sampling 4. Plus the swordsman xp for a first lvl box.
