Thread: New BE and just testing some stuff out. Why can't I tame this pet ?

Hello All,
I've been browsing around the forums for the past few days after getting back into game after a 6 month RL break... :-)
I decided to delete all my characters and start new/clean. I'm trying BE right now and am 1,0,2,1 in it. Also a 0,1,1,2 CH (which gives me CL 20 for right now).
I've read and seen the invalid pet check problems. But I'm having a little trouble undertanding (if you even can) what or why a pet would "fail" this check. While doing some "testing" with DNA and such (trying to see what goes where and affects what) I've run across 2 Pets I created that would NOT allow me to tame them. 1 turned out to be a CL 18 (I just up and resampled it and did not log info on it). But, this 1 I just did say's it's CL 14 but I'm getting the "You can not tame that..." message.
SS of that stat's. All 5 DNA samples came from Arachne Drone's. But, I ran into a Failure during 1 of my Exp. tries...

Oh, missed my question ... 
Is there something wrong with this that anyone can see (like I'm missing any Taming Vic. in CH). Or, did I just run into the "pet check" bug again ?

um...may sound like an odd question, but are you a CH?
If you're CH and you max level is 14, then you wont be able to tame an aggressive creature without BE taming clothes

Yes I am at CL 20... But, I have no "Taming Vicious" Skill....
Is it considered "Vicious" due to the Ranged Attack ?

Too bad there is no emote for "slaps themselves upside the head"..... :-)

Not only do we have a "doh!" but the animation is worth the entire monthly fee of the game.
