Hiyas, just a quick question really heh. Does one need Master BE in order to make tissues for tailors or chefs? I mean I know getting master is best because you get the max experiementation and there are a few tissues at master, but I'm thinking of getting BE but I won't be able to master it. So I was wondering if getting Tissues 4 and Engineering 4 would be enough to make semi-decent tissues for myself?
Main reason I ask, is because I don't really know any BE's on my server. A lot of them up and disappeared it seems. Or the shops I find anymore are full of chef tissues, and not a lot of tailor tissues.

Well with everything in the game it all comes down to personal perference. The extra 3 points for expermantaion plus the items u miss out vs skill points. I would personal go for master BE but its up too you

As a MBE, I usually have 1 or 2 experimentation points left over when doing tailor tissues and chef additives. Since you will have 3 experimentation points less as a non-Master you'll end up making items that a slightly less than what you would do at master (2 less bonus points in tailor tissues, and 2 or 3 less % to your chef tissues). You'll also lose 2 top tier tailor tissues as a non-master as well as Intelligent Nanonutrients whichare 1 of the 2 very popular chef additives.
So in answer to your question, yes you should be able to make decent tailor tissues (the 6 of 8 you'll be able to make), andsince you really only need +13 bonuses (to reach the stacked max of +25)you should be able to get that if you use good ingrediants.
Edit: Also keep an eye on this thread. Over the next couple days there should be more BE's advertising their vendors on your server:

If you are really in need of SP then no you don't need Master but you may find that your nutrients are one or two points below standard which could really cut you out of the market. But if you're trying to be conservative and use the SP elsewhere then no you don't need it. However, I would STRONGLY advise you getting master.

If your server is such that you either get non-Master tissues or nothing...well, sometimes people will need to settle for best available.

id only really suggest not mastering if you're only going to make tissues for yourself or for friends.....like all crafters, you have to be master to make marketable goods. Just be glad theres no BE SEAs or you'd probly need 12 point MBE to compete like the AS and WS have =)

well with the current experimentation system, BEs dont need to be 12 pointers as you regulary get spare SP.
