Ok, you mentioned that P Cake is "fixed" (of course this is probably near impossible to verify via testing). But anyway, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a crafting session need to be like this to use it, or have a I got it wrong?
Eat P Cake
Fire up crafting machine on dna template
Drink port
put 2 experiment point in -> experiment
drink more port
another 2 points
drink more port
another 2 points
drink more port
another 2 points
drink more port
another 2 points
template assembly (*cross your fingers*)
eat more cake
select pet skin and color
pet assembly (*cross your fingers again*)

I think the crossing your fingers is the most useful part there, at least if you are using VHQ MR DNA that is.

Thats pretty much how it goes.
FWIW, TC just went down for the update and I got some cake ready for when it comes back up, its a fairly easy check, previously the buff wasnt removed when you assembled the DNA template, meaning our template assembly bypasses the normal routes and so the buff wasnt being applied to that step of the crafting process, if its fixed the buff will be removed when you assemble the DNA template
