Thread: bugged schematic and/or subcomponents?

I cannot load subcomponents (ABEC, ALS, and ACRDM)into ingredient slots when crafting stimpacks A through C in my crafting tool, but it works fine for stimpack D's..


anyone else having this issue?


all my subcomponents are post-CU crafted btw, and I tried in and out of factory crates too with no luck

That's because only the stim D uses advanced components now, A to C now use basic components only.

yeah, I am a vet crafter myself and was quite upset over this as well.

Pre-CU you could use advanced components in basic slots, but not regular ones in advanced slots.
With CU, the devs realized this led to overpowered low-level stims, and decided to turn it around:
You can put basic components in advanced slots, making low-grade high-level stims, but you cannot make overpowered low-level stims anymore by using advanced components.
