Honestly though, how hard would it be to add to the flora surveying milk and eggs as resources to be harvested.

I think Izzy might have gotten lucky. Occasionally while foraging you can find milk or eggs. I am just wondering if Izzy just happened to get lucky and find milk around that creature...or if he can consistently do it?

I just foraged around birds nest for half an hour...couldn't find any eggs.

As for the developers never saying anything...really getting the feeling we are below low priority.

Noting the /sarcam off at the end of the original post, I'm wondering if this is for real or not.

Anyone been able to duplicate this? Can the original poster mention what quantity he walked away with doing the foraging he did. Or is this all some horrible, horrible joke.

Hrm. It did happen, that part wasn't sarcasm.

I managed to get 11 bagerstadt milk, before leaving the area. My survival skill was only level II, which made my foraging +15 I believe. I didn't really stay long however, it very well could have been a fluke coincidence. I just assumed since there were bagerstadts in the area, and I foraged bagerstadt milk... well, you see where I am going here. I'll try again tonight.

Most interesting.. well - I've only got Survival I and gave it a shot around some Kuudu (er something like that.. the flightless bird things on Naboo) to see if I could root up some eggs. No dice, but I'm going to keep trying whenever I run across something that looks like it could be milked or drop eggs. Maybe I'll try running survival up to Survival II while I'm at it.

This might be worth a post of the Scout boards.. just to try to gather a little more information.

Ok.. I posted a request for data on the Scout board. Hopefully some interested scouts will help usfind out a bit more about this new development.

Wow, with rates like that, we'll only have to afk macro for a week and we can produce enough milk for 10 or 11 uses!

Ever see that commerical, with the guy who dies, goes to heaven... finds a big plate of choclate chip cookies... goes to the fridge.. every milk cartoon is empty. "Where Am I?" (Que evil laughter).

Well folks, I found milk. You need to forage, around animals and wildlife, that apparently are milk producers. Like the zebra looking thing I discovered it at last night, badgerstat something or other.

Yep.. so get your milking pails, raise that wilderness survival skill, and head off to milk a bagerstat.

Ok.. I'll stop screaming now. Uhhh, the Badgerstadt, what planet is it on? There are Bagaserets on Naboo, but look nothing like Zebras. I'm up to Survival II now so I'll give this another shot tonight (after 9pm PST).

ReblSoldier: What level was your Survival at? Izzy noted he was at Survival II.

There aren't a whole lot of scouts who care to /forage much - I think it's an XP issue - so I'm trying to gather as much data on this as I possibly can. Thanks again!

I am a master scout and I tried to forage near eopie, and it doesn't give me milk.
Will test more other mammal-like creatures for confirmation.
