The change is intentional.
All pre-CU doctor subcomponents for stims (ABEC, ACRDM, ALS) now max out close to 75 power / 4 charges.
There is no direct relation between resource type, resource quantity and any experimentation boundaries. The developers decided that c4/p75 is best balanced in the post-CU world.
With just post-CU subcomponents, you can still make 1150 power / 15 charge Stim-Ds.

Ok, Im not sure if this issue has been brought up or not. I seem to remember from my Doc days that Advanced Liquid Supensions had more than 6 units of each resource required. It doesnt make sense that the advanced version required the same amount of resources , albeit named ones. If the amount of these resources were increased, I would think the power would also scale with it. I had some Pre-Cu components with 147 power. Now I'm lucky to hit 70. I'm not sure if this change is intential or not.
