hey all, i recently got into the BE profession and just mastered it today. anyways, earlier today i spent all morning selling lvl 5 banthas, dewbacks, kaadu, and eopie to beginning n00bs. i told them that if they came back they could get it trained as a mount once it grew to level 5. i just read another post that said that level 8 dewbacks are large enough to be mounted!!! did i just sell a whole bunch of n00bs a bunch of worthless mounts?!?!?!?! Level 5 banthas, dewbacks, kaadu, and eopie are all mountable, right? Also, could someone provide me with a link to or post right here a complete list of mountable animals?

Yup, from everything seen recently, you are looking at non-ch level "mountables" being "un-mountable" until/if they change pet sizing back. If the noobs want mounted pets now, they'll have to go through a CH to tame one. Sorry for the bad news, but its all over the posts for sometime now.

Incidentially eopies aren't mountable in any case.. and all your level 5 pets you sold will never grow larger then half size and never be mounts at all

Don't feel exceedingly bad I did nearly the same thing.. albeit I didn't sell any of mine.. know anyone who wants 50 level 9 non tamed pets that are all titleNon CH mountable pet?

Anyone noticed crafted pets now craft with the name you gave it in crafting? i'm sitting here looking at a bantha i crafted and tamed called test DnA 6 LOL

Yes and there is also a /bug on the CH naming side (similar to the "you are too far away..." ent bug in that it doesn't happen to everyone) where the CH is unable to rename a BE pet.

I've stopped putting any info in the deed name, even gone so far as to give some of them names as we can use spaces while a CH cannot.

in the stickied thread, I have a list of the nonCH mounts that ARE working:

dewback (CL10) ...it's tiny, but it'll hold a saddle.
falumpaset (probably CL6ish... C10 is safe)
brackaset (as falumps... CL10 is safe)

cu pa, bantha, bol, kaadu... not mountable at CL10.

Are they planning on fixing this, or is it seen as something that doesn't need fixing?

I think that I read somewhere but maybe I imagined it, something about CH's only going to be able to rename pets a limited number of times. For the life of me I cannot recall where or when or in reference to what I saw this - does anyone else have more details?
