Thread: A couple of questions regarding sampling

1. Does the distance from the creature you are sampling affect the chance of sucess of the chance of agroing it?
2. Do inspiration buffs help in sampling at all?
3. Does the creature skin you select alter the dna template in any way as in if you use it in a razor cat it will be higher or lower then if you use it in a rancor or kimogila?
I know I have a couple more but thats all I could remember for now. Thanks!!

1. No, aggressive (red dots) will break mask scent at 15 m as quickly as at 1 m. If sampling causes the mob to go aggo, the distance doesn't matter.
2. Only to get xp.
3. No, but some skins have a minumum CL like Kimo is CL 40 and Rancor is CL 35.
