Thread: DnA Sample Levels

It seems to me that DnA from a (for example) CL20 creature will be slightly lower than (for example) DnA from a CL43 mission version of the same creature, likewise a CL40 mission version and a CL42 mission would come out with slightly diferent stats onthe DnAexample below

i was hunting matriach banthas, getting CL46 missions and sampling them for DnA, at the end i crafted all their DNA without any experimentation into 3k HAM CL10 critters
A day later i was doing CL49 matriach bantha missions and sampling their DnA, at the end i crafted all their DNA wihtout any experimentation into 3.5k HAM CL11 to 13 critters

So when you are making up your recipes guys it's best to do one fo two things and not both.....

1. Always get your DnA for recipes from missions and always the same CL missions all the time.

or

2. Always sample DnA only from wild spawns.

Looks like creating and keeping viable recipes is a little harder than just copying what everyone els has made now

It's still great work tho. I was noticing that mission DNAhardiness seems to increase with mission levels while the rest of the values stay the same (not sure about power) and then they do this weird capping thing if you try to experiment on them.

Would you mind posting the ballpark range of the stats of the DNA we should be looking for to start crafting our level 10's with your method please? Then we can look for similar wild/mission DNA and know we might just get a level 10 if we throw it all together ..

on my next few days off work, i will travel around tatooine, A) sampling all creatures i find at spawn levels, and B) All levels i can get missions for (roughly 56 to 62 i think) and keep track of what stats i get on the DnA and what they seem to be coming out as with no exp when made into pets, hopefully we can work somtething out, i'll post my findings both here and on my own board over at swg: creature crafter.

Gonna be a day or two before i can start though, i swapped a box of dna sampling to get my last box of CH and have 30k dna sampling xp to regrind hehe
