I hadn't noticed it before the patch, but last night i tamed the last two dewback i had in stock, one was one of my first with low ham, and the other had quite a bit more ham. There was a major difference in their size AND color. The smaller one was a lot more red in color, and the larger one was approximately 2 feet taller.

Is this something new, or just something i hadn't noticed before?

The first dewback I ever made was full grown and still red in color. I hated to see him go, but i couldnt turn down the amount of money someone offered me. Anyway he was a lot bigger than the dewbacks i had 'sitting' in my house.

I'm assuming the amount of ham effects the size the creature can grow to, or is it something that lies totally in the DNA? What effects the color? Is it possible to make one that ends up being green in color?
Are all the bio-engineered pets going to be different color from the ones found in the wild?

It has always been that way. Ham dictates the size.

Well I've seen weaker HAM clones turning out larger than one with a high HAM so I dunno what effects the size but it's not as simple as the HAM pools.

I think they did change size after the patch. "Fido" used to be the smaller of my two dewbacks, though he was stronger. Now he's huge.

My pre-patch, crappy self-made Dewback was CL18, red, and bigger than my wild tamed, full grown level 20 mountain dewback. After the patch, the BE'd Dewback was shrunk to the size of the Mountain dewback

I was all excited about riding this 10-foot tall Dewback too.
