Greetings,
While I’m no longer a crafter, I spent many months selling assorted player-made goods, and am all too familiar with the dreaded, “Can you make me the best _____?” request. I don’t want to become an annoying customer that you want to smack over the head with a crafting tool, and thus beg from the BEs a bit of information, so I know what (and what not) to ask for when I track down someone who can help on Bria. Thank you in advance!
1) I’m looking for a pet that I can ride as a mount, as well as use as the a “tank” in my Ranger-ly adventures: Can the BE “Bolma” be mounted? If not, are BEs able to make anything else that is ridable (other than a Kaddu, everyone has a Kaddu ...)?
2) From what I understand about the new system, the general level of the critter depends on what you sucked the DNA out of. Would the average BE have level 16-18ish DNA in stock, or am I looking at something that’s going to be hard to find because of the level?
3) From the posts I’ve seen on the forums, you can make high-level creatures in the low level bodies (like the uber bunny someone mentioned), but could you make a lower level critter in a higher level body (the Bolma is a mid-30s animal from what I read)?
4) What properties can be experimented on, and should I specify what I would like done to the pet, such as an order of preferences, in regards to experimentation (i.e. “I’d like you to experiment resists first, and then HAM, and damage least of all”)?
Assuming none of that is horribly off the mark, would something along the lines of this seem like a reasonable request:
[Kallah] “Hello there, I’m interested in a Bio-Engineered critter, are you taking orders at the moment?”
[BE Fella] “Sure am, what do you need?”
[Kallah] “I’m looking for a Bolma-style creature, with a level of 18 (or slightly less is fine too), with the Kinetic resistance experimented most heavily, then a little HAM, and if there’s anything left, damage.”
Am I leaving out anything that would be important to the order? Would you run screaming in the other direction if you got a tell like that? Any and all information is greatly appreciated, and my apologies if the questions have been asked a dozen times.

Well that would be a fine way to order but have to keep in mind it will probably take awhile to get the right DNA samples to get the level you request and the resistances. As for levels there is a minimum lvl for some skins whethere there is an upper limit is up to debate at the moment.

Greetings,
Thank you much - that’s what I was hoping to hear, more or less (minimum levels could be bad, hehe). Don’t want to scare off my crafters before they get the chance to scare me off with the price. *Grin*

Something else you may want to define is if you want light armor or any specials you would really like. Also depending on the skin you can select some limited colors. The way most of my orders come is via email after I've explained the new system and answered questions for a potential customer.
Thank you for asking, wish more people would do such things.

I created an order form, lists body types, colors, specials, how HAM/CL/resists interact. It's pretty long.

Asu = would you be willing to share it? I'd love to have something to email people that they fill our and reply back so to speak. If not that is cool.
Thanks
