If CL was not an issue, what kind of Gurreck could be made? Lets say AR1 60% Kinetic as a minimum. I understand 60% resists are as high as you can go but if higher is possible so be it. High balanced HAM and maybe specials like Knockdown/Intimidate/Blind as examples. Also a high hit like .5 and damage.

In order of preference:

1. AR1 with 60% Kinetic

2. Balanced HAM ex: 10k 10k 10k or better

3. Overall high resists

4. HIgh to hit ratio

5. Raw damage

6. Specials: Knockdown, Intimidate, Blind>Strong Poison or Strong Disease not as important

For example: CL 60 AR1 Kinetic 60% all other resists 50-60% To Hit .5 or higher Damage 400-600

Specials: Knockdown, Intimidate or Dizzy

Is something like this possible?

I have been making Gurrecks that are close to CL70 that have 13k HAM, 40-50% Kinetic Resists, Light Armour, at least 0.5 to hit, damage ranging from 490-610 with KD/Dizzy for specials.

My finest cat yet, CL 68, 13.7k HAM, 0.55 (I think) to hit, 600-610 damage with KD/Dizzy. Oh and of course 48% kinetic resist and light armour. It was a second gen from a cat that was CL 73. I haven't been able to reproduce it yet but I might try in the next few days.

On Naritus I have a pre-patch Gurreck that is 12192/11980/12492 for HAM, 55% Kinetic resist, 75% blast/energy resist which makes him a killer against AT-ST fire, AR1, 522 damage at 2.0 speed with a .46 to-hit. He is hands down one of, it the absolute best pre-patch pets on the server, and the talented BE that made him left the game long before the recent patch because of how broken the profession he wanted so badly to enjoy had been.

At CL 70, the maximum tamable level, which should be the target as anything beyond that is "furniture", I would imagine you could come close to 15K HAM, AR1 and decent resists in the 50% or better range with exceptional DNA.

As for specials, it would be a matter of suiting them to the type of combat profession the MCH uses. Dizzy and poisons work very well for a TKA or a Melee profession, as their knockdown can make the prey unable to resist and the dizzy can keep them down while the poison does its job. For those classes, a good ranged attack, though not necessarily a high damage one, will make a major difference. A strong bleed attack will help here as well.

For an MCH that uses a ranged combat style to back up a pet, I would consider the knockdown a must-have, and a dizzy as a second. A disease or poison ranged could be used as DoT damage or for pulling, but the MCH having the ranged attack will most likely do a good bit of the pulling. Lastly, a high agressive profile will help to keep the pet on the mob and acting as primary tank; I would gladly sacrifice the ranged attack in favor of a pet that could stick 100% to the mob and maintain the "tank focus" to allow me to blast away.

Those are high expectations, but if we are talking goals, I would say that pretty well describes a super-gurreck to me.

I have this approximate build in a CL50 Gurreck, made it last night. When i get home ill post the full sats such as damage and speed. But its around the 10.5K HAM (all three). Not sure on specials think they are strong disease and another.

Getting light armor, 60% kinetic and around 50-60% in everything else certainly cannot be done with a first generation clone. That much is for sure, it'd also tech an exceptional amount of effort to produce because on the whole you don't get any species which are tough in secondary damage types while also being tough for the kinetic and energy as well. Normally it's either one or the other.

Yup I have some pets close to that, but getting rid of any vulnerabilities in a pet like that is tough. I've chosen blast and cold as my vulnerabilities and make pets with 55-60% kinetic and 35-85% in most others.

I have a little 62 Choku that not only sticks to target and does around 600 damage, but he pretty consistently seems to just slowly shove everything around Hes has no specials just teeth, but a very high to hit like.59, close to 600 damage, and below 2.0 speed with around 12000 HAM. Sacrifice is ar1 with only 35% kinetic special protection.

I would try using all Thune Herd Leader, or Frenzied Graul DNA. Your result should be very close to your critera.

CL 52

10.5k health

AR1

59% kenetic

______

Used Kamurith defiler in physique and frenzied graul in the next 4. Full experiment into physique and nothing else. Only dropped kenetic by 1% and got me 700 more health then a gurrek I made with all frenzied graul DNA.
