Thread: Dynamic spawning: I love it; I hate it.
The spawn system in SWG has alot going for it, such as reducting lag, but there are times it makes mejust want to hit the cancel button in frustration. I find that mygaming experiance can be much more enjoyible depending on what time of day I play.
On those rare occassion I can play after a morning server reset, the game is full of a cornucopia of spawns. There everywhere, its almost difficult to move around sometimes. I can find stuff I want to sample and life is good. But most of the time, such as after work, the server load is heavy and the game just a bit laggy. I can run around and round and not find anything. Lately, I have been looking for specific creatures to sample from but the only times Ihave been able to get on is afterwork, and the search has been pretty fruitless. I will get on and look for the critters I need, but after about 40 minutes of either no spawns or the occasional trash spawn I useally just give up and go watch t.v.

The only planet I ever get frustrated on due to lack of spawns is Dantooine. I can run around on their for an hour and literally not run into anything but Huurtons...and that's with Track 3. Makes searching for Frenzied's all the more fun. =/
Dantooine is terrible that way.. when I'm doing missions with my PA, there are critters everywhere. But when I'm the only person around and just trying to get some DNA, the whole planet seems empty. I'm convinced that doing missions leads to more regular lairs spawning as well.

On Datnoiine ... I tend to see less spawns cruising on my speeder than if I walk...they do spawn, just behind me or slowly...not like endor/dathomir where you can not stop hitting spawns of mobsit seems like.
Theonly place I have seen the Frenzied are scattered in the mountain ranges and flatsalong the western part of the planet. Not sure if they spawn elsewhere as I've never seen them anywhere else.
head to theimperial outpostand walknorth ...or ride your bike slowly... I'm sure you will run into some before hitting the abandoned rebel base.
goodsampling to you...
on a personal note.. I got 10 samples of mutant rancor last night without getting killed! ..and I even got 3 successes in a row in 3 minutes (very lucky on those.)
I used the techniques in the "how to sample mutant rancor" thread.
