hey

i am looking to purchase agreat non-ch pet. What is the bestbio pet i can hope to use?i hope no one minds me posting here instead of the trade forums. oh, and im on the Bria server. I am willing to pay big bucks to get a good one.

This is a common question. I'd say look at the FAQ thread at the top of this forum but it might be out dated.

The question in itself is relative to how you play. You're going to get a CL10 animal which will have an average of around 2K HAM. If you see a CL10animal with high stats and high HAM it will most likely be invalid and unusable.

You can only use body types that are non-aggressive. These include most of the cats (gurrcat, razor, gurrect, bearded jax) the cu pa, dewback, eopies....you get the idea. You can't have a spider or anything of that nature.

The biggest problem you're going to have is the resists and specials. Typically a CL10 animal will have mild resists. You can get a CL10 animal with specials like strong poison and a ranged attack but expect to pay for those.

CL10 animals can be a challenge to make and not all BE's bother with them. Don't be surprised or upset when you ask a BE and they respectfully decline. Keep realistic expectations. You won't get a tank but you will get an animal that is useful for many purposes.

Level 10 pets are hard to make and rather depressing considering what people are asking for. Sure I can give it some resists and good ham at a cost to damage. People want their existing pet with better stats when it's becoming closer to a shuffle of stats. If you want resists it will cost ham heavily and so far for me at least damage is always the largest cost. Have trouble getting attacks above 100. Of course with the resists on level 15 pets I also have trouble getting their damage closer to 200. I prefer resists over max damage. I also try to make them with no vulnerables with just makes the task harder.

I have been making cl9-10 pets with upper 2k ham sometimes 3k on some and arounf=d 15kinetic and like 8 energy and nothing but maybe 1 resist to anything else dmg is usaully 50-60 or 70-80

What creature are you creating and what DNA are you using? After the patch, I can't create anything with more than 1K Ham, CL10. And that's with 0 resist and about 50-60 damage. People ask me a ton about making Non-CH creatures, I just tell them it's not possible to make worthwhile things anymore.

It would take me more money to travel to get good DNA, than people are willing to pay for a crappy creature like that.

I usaully use mountain dewback(this is wut i recommend)or mountain squill and add in syck(for the medium poison) and i can usaully make a cl 9-10 but sometimes i come out with around cl 11-12. It is real easy to find these creatures for me because they always spawn around my house(i have to mask scent to get in my house lol!)
