Hi,

I am interested in non ch pet to hunt magwax on yavin iv for domesticated meat. From what i've garnered by reading on the forumns which I hope is correct by making some things weak it allows you to push other things up higher.

So what i'd like is a creature with high ham, basically very low damage output and high kinetic. Everything else can be vulnerable. I assume armor is totally out of the picture.

Is something like this possible? If so what would it look like stat wise?

PS You'd think domesticated meat would be a bit easier to obtain!

When it comes to level 10's I've been able to produce now it's basically Ham just short of 2k, Resist to Kinetic at 30 at best and really low on others if not vulnerables. Specials are low if none at all. Damage sits around 50 if I want the Ham and resists higher. If it has specialties I try to get the pet smarter so it will use them more. This can be at cost of action or health.

That actually doesn't seem to bad pet wise. I assume the trade off for ham to kinetic resists has some optimimun point which i assume your saying is 30

Now just to find a kauri BE to make one.

Well see it starts out as say two larger good Kaadu at levels 18 or so. I sample them to get some more dna and try to create another. If I'm lucky in experimentation I can get good resists. So far that 30 Kinetic can vary on down to 10 to 15. I'm one of a few I know who does try for level 10 pets though. I've only been experimentating on these pets for a day or two though. I find Gurk DNA is good for this. Overall though the attacks are the lowest stat. I try to make the pets smarter and braver though so they don't run on you. Making level 10 pets can be too complicated. Whats really bad is you get this dna sample that looks perfect for it and out comes a level 11 to 13 pet. I hate when that happens.

I'd say the best a non-ch pet can hope for is a handful of 10-15% resists combined with a number of vulnerabilities and with about as much of a punch as a 5 week old baby. If your wondering how feeble those are ask our recent bio-engineer momma

Hehe not worried about punch just want something to occupy magwax while flamethrower kills them. It doesn't need to take on the toughest creatures in the world. Just hold up with a few stims to keep it going.
