Thread: Questions about using 5 DNA samples of the same creature to try and make a copy of a mob

I haven't tried this yet, but I will soon. Anyways, for anyone who has made a clone of a particular creature using the same dna type on all slots, how close were the final stats to a natural creature? Do you need to have all VHQ, HQ, or AA dna samples? Did you need to experiment? Were you happy with the end result?


I have 6 dna samples of a Great Plains Stalker, and thinking of getting samples from a Frenzied Graul (I am aware of the 60% kinetic limitation and that Open Wounds will not transfer), to make a clone of it. I was just wondering how close of a copy would it be. I also some some Arachne Widow samples I'd like to use. Many thanks.

depending on experimentation rolls and your current level, the creature could come out far better than in the wild

also, as you said, the limitations on kinetic/energy resists and certain attacks don't clone through
