One of my guildmates is currently a master tailor.. so of course she reads the forums there.. She told me that their forum currently has a poilicy of haveing any posts made by customer looking for an order removed and locked down.. Basically it goes "if you are not posting on a tailoring issue.. do not post here" What is your opinion on this idea??
Personally i get sick of seeing post like "looking for MBE on Starsider" or the like...
Thanks

Haven't seen stuff locked here. Best rule to start is on the Trade board. If no dice, then move to the profession with the disclaimer that you tried and failed on Profession board. But give it more than an hour please.

I don't see a problem with someone looking for an MBE on their server, same as I don't feel it's a sin to post in the tailor forum looking for someone to make maskscent or taming clothing. Whoever is locking threads is a bit of a forum zealot if you ask me. Sometimes a trade forum moves so quickly, your post is on page 3 or 4 after only a half-hour or so. Not everyone looks in the trade or galaxy forums regularly, whereas many people check out their profession forums pretty extensively I would say. I know I do.

The tailor forum was getting over-run by people selling schematics, heavy leather pieces, clasps and other dropped items. It was getting to the point that legit discussions were getting dropped off the first page, so people complained and I think it was the correspondent who asked that things get cleaned up.
