Ive decided to pick up some ch i have 35max level. I wanted to have a bioengineer make me some pets but im not sure what kind of pets and what kind resists can i expect. Im looking to for some tanks on nightsisters. Would it better to have a bunch of pets say like one for stun protection and one blast ect..,or one for kinetic and blast and one for stun and energy or how ever the best break down would be. And my other question is there certain pets that i should ask for to have certain resists. Thanks for any information ign tina' Also id like the pets to have light armor and has anyone seen a medium armor pet i thought i saw someone use one awhile ago.

Ask your local Bio-Engineer. BEs can make pets to fit virtually any requirement. Nightsisters do kinetic, stun, electric and blast damage - anything other than that should be a vulnerability to keep the CL down. However, crafting a single pet with all these types of resists and keep the CL down is going to be difficult. Generally pets dont fair too well against high end mobs such as night sisters and krayts. However, if the BE is skilled enough (and this would certainly require skills) then he could craft 2 CL17 pets - one with kinetic/electricity/ar1 and one with kinetic/blast/stun/ar1. Hmm. The problem is that if you want high stun/blast then you're going to be getting a lot of other high resists attached with the donor so it would take a while to get them down while keeping the others high. Interesting.

well for an ns tank i know that it's possible to get a cl 50 pet that's absolutely KILLER for taking on ns.
I'll let you figure out the recipe for it though
probably the best thing you can do to get some Insane mantigrue berserker dna and mix it with some elder gronda dna. this should practically (if not completely) null everything other than the three resists you want (kinetic, stun, blast) to do this best you'd probably want something like IMB/IMB/EG/EG/EG, and you may have to resample it and make it a 2nd gen. to keep cl the lowest i'd recommend keeping the IMB out of the agression and psych slots, but you may have to experiment a bit.
SWGcreatures doesn't have dna info for the EG, so i can't get an idea of what you'd get, but as far as resists you'd probably have to re-gen it to get rid of the electric and energy (and heat) resists to keep it low enough.
Hope this helps!

well it kind of helps so i should try and get 2 pets one for kinetic, blast and stun and one for kinetic and electricity im not going to worry about energy for ns. What about the type of pet i should ask for, does that have a bearing on the results that can be acheived if a pet naturally has a resist to something.

I did a straight IMB clone the other night and got it in the Twin range...CL33 I think it was (I was expecting about 10 levels higher).
The only down side wite this is the 50% rather than 100% kin resists.
In fact I made 3 straight clones with 5 point in EXP, 7 points in EXP and 10 points in EXP...If anyone is interested, I'll get some screenshots off my guildy who I gave them too...
